It s been a life (style) changer.Best money I ve ever spent. In the last two months I ve seen my chiropractor, on average, three times a week. I asked him about TENS. He said it s a great device, but you get what you pay for. After researching, I found one rating list that had the truMedic in second place ... behind some Swedish device selling in the $800 range. Short story ... I took it to my chiro. He looked at the instruction book and exclaimed that it looked like the real deal. Was surprised when I told him about $120.Anyway, that s the last time I ve seen him. I go to bed with it on so that when the inevitable back pain makes it an excruciating chore to go to the bathroom, I just snap it on ... fairly high power, and I m able to make the trip, and after a few minutes my back falls into place. BTW, I only wear two pads, and I m still ion the first. I did buy the gel that rejuvenates them. Oh, my chiro said you can hue it anywhere (But not head or heart) and sometime the results are surprising ... also, save for the brain and heart caveat, you cannot hurt yourself with TENS.BEST EVER5JUMP THE FENCE & BUY ITI have a job that I use my arm continuously and repetitively all day long. I have had shoulder, arm and neck pain stemming from this activity.I hesitantly thought what the heck I may as well try it since nothing seems to be helping short of pondering surgery.I am very glad I did, it has however only been about a week.I do not expect it to return my body to manufacturer reset but I have serious relief from the pain. I can do my job faster and more productively since using this and my attitude is better since the pain is not there or greatly reduced.If you are looking for a cure this is not it but if you are looking for a treatment that works YOU FOUND IT!5TruMedic Tens unitI have been battling a shoulder issue for about a year now. I have debated surgery, but the rehab from shoulder surgery is about 8 months and I cant be sidelined that long. I found the TruMedic Deluxe Tens unit when a friend told me about it. It took me about a month to finally order it. A month I wish I had back. I started using the unit and after about a week of using it my right shoulder pain decreased noticeably. The morning was the worst for the pain. Starting at about 3am, I would start turning in bed like a rotisserie chicken trying to find a comfortable sleeping position. I am starting to sleep much better now and surgery is the last thing on my mind. I will continue to use the TruMedic on my shoulder as well as my right knee. I urge anyone with chronic pain in joints or muscles to get one of these. Best money I ever spent.Tom M. New York5Good unit, manual could be clearer and website saferI do like this unit. It is similar to treatments I received from a chiropractor, but at far lower cost! Contrary to some comments in the review, I find that I can successfully store the unit, leads, pads and charger in the convenient travel case provided. I would give the unit five stars except that the manual that comes with the unit indicates that both the A and B leads can be used simultaneously, but provides no information on how to do that. While registering the product there seems to be no problem, but other that for registering, McAfee warns that the TruMedic website is dangerous and to avoid using it.4Couldn t be happier with this unit!!I ve had this for over a month and a half, and have used it nearly everyday 20-40 min each time. I ve only charged it twice; once when I first received it and once at the month mark.-It s powerful, can t get past 10 on most of my body parts.-The preprogrammed settings make it easy to use.-it s compact, lightweight and fits in my pocket. It s about the size of a universal remote control.-The pads are holding up wonderfully. The item was delivered on Easter Sunday and I gave it to her a week later when she came to visit. She loved it and it did seem to ease her leg pain. About two weeks after she started using it, she turned it on and it shocked the heck out of her and quit working. My sister said it shocked her so hard that she could hear my mom scream from the other room. The area of the shock was sore and tender. I told my sister I would pick it up the next time I drove over to visit. I did that this weekend and when I tried to return the product today, Amazon said it's no longer eligible for return. It was delivered on Easter Sunday and I tried to return it today. We're talking less than 35 days and they won't take it back. I've been a Prime member going on two years and this is really sad, I've spent thousands of dollars on amazon and would expect them to back a defective unit. I can understand having a 30 day return policy because you don't like something, but when you have a product that actually shocked and burned an 84 year old women, you would think they would return it without a problem.1
