Great for Post-Op!I'm a 31 year old, active female who just had knee surgery last week. The compression stockings that my doctor gave me (and told me to wear all the time) were too long and itchy. These stockings are like a first-class upgrade to what I had. They are soft and comfortable.I followed the size chart and they fit true to size. For reference, I am 5'4", 165lb. Here are my measurements: Ankle circumference - 8 1/4", Calf circumference - 15" and Thigh circumference - 19" and size Medium fits perfectly. 5Thigh opening loosenedI bought these for surgical recovery. These were extremely comfortable with good compression, however the thigh opening became extremely loose within 48 hours of wearing (and I don t have big thighs). It wasn t a huge problem as I was lying down most of the time while recovering (hence my need for the product), but I was surprised at how rapidly they deteriorated.They ll work for you if you only need to use them for a week or so before tossing and don t need to be on your feet. 3Would buy againI had to wear these after having a cosmetic vein procedure on my legs. I thought that they weren't going to stay up on my legs and to my surprise they did. The sizing is accurate, I measured my leg with a tape measure, per their instructions on line, and ordered of off their size chart. I found that these compression thigh high's are a great quality product at a really reasonable price. I recommend this product. 5Good compression stockings, but a bit weak at the top (thigh)These are good compression stockings and I used them for weeks after a surgery. They lasted much longer than the ones I was given at the hospital. I took one start away because the elastic band at the top that should keep it up on the thigh is weak and I found they rolled down the thigh toward the knee after just an hour or so. Even afer hand washing and air drying them, the top elastic band never really recovered and was always a bit loose. While it was a minor inconvenience, the stockings provided all the support and compression needed in the knee, calf and foot and worked well. 4Great anti-embolism stockings!My husband, who recently had full knee replacement surgery and developed a blood clot, is happy with these stockings as they are more comfortable than the ones he received from the hospital. 5Slid down, uncomfortable.I was excited about these as I am a pregnant (32 weeks!) nurse who is on my now swollen feet for 12+ hours a shift. They weren't extremely difficult to apply (I mean, my husband had to help with over the toe/heel then I did the rest as I can't reach my toes anymore). They were comfortable for a few hours after application. However, after a few hours, the sticky silicone tops started to slide down and wound up around my knees a few times during the remainder of the day. Also, as they started to slide, the material started to bunch up behind my knees and that HURT. Also, if you're pregnant like me, you probably can't remove them yourself so I just suffered in silence until I got home and could have the hubby hep me remove them. Very disappointed in this product, will be wearing plain old knee high compression socks from now on. 1Short term use onlyIf you need to use longer than one week for post op DVT prevention, these may not be for you. Material is more durable than the cheap ones the hospitals make an inflated reimbursement on. Lasted about a week, then lost compression above the knee. They would not stay up on thighs to offer protection. They do give your arms a work out pulling them up constantly. Ended up having to buy some from a local medical supply store that work because these came much later than expected. Knee highs may be alright to use for support but I have little faith these would prevent post op complications above the knee. 2I have 7 pairs of them and they work beautiful. I have had no problems with themI have been wearing the TruForm open toe, thigh length hose (as described in the ad) since June 2016. I have 7 pairs of them and they work beautiful. I have had no problems with them. Then I ordered from AT Surgical. They were approximately 1/2 price, but they are not as shown . I can't even figure out how to put them on. I have sent in a "request" to return twice but have not heard anything from them. "Cheaper is not always better." 1Fits Great and works well for usMy husband had a stroke 9 years ago and lost the use of his left leg. He wears a HKAFO (hip, knee, ankle, foot orthosis aka leg brace from hip to foot) and with all that plastic on his skin - that he can't feel he would break out, get chaffed and more. We thought these type of stockings might be a lift saver and they have been. He's been buying the white ones sold by another company but those are hard to find lately. We found these and liked the idea of a less noticeable nude color vs the white. We bought a single pair to try out and they are working wonderfully. We will be buying more. 5Very good compressionI made the mistake of getting a large when I should have ordered medium. Follow the size chart and order based on your smallest size is my recommendation. I ordered based on average. They stay up really well... until you wash them and then they don't stay up so well. I'm going to order the Truform garters and see if that helps as they are too expensive to keep buying new ones after they need a wash. 4
