Floral tasteTea was very fresh, but had a strong floral overtone that made it seem more like herbal tea; did not like it at all2Love this tea, especially iced, but it also makes a nice cup of hot tea.The flavor is quite nice, the sage is subtle and compliments the blackberry very well. I highly recommend this one and the many of from this brand. If you're looking for a flavorful tea with a bit of fruit, give this a try. You will not be disappointed.5My Favorite TeaThis is my favorite type or "flavor" of tea. Once you try Keemun, you will never go back to any other type for pure tea. However, I will continue to enjoy various types of flavored teas. I trust Republic of Tea to provide a high quality product and have never been disappointed. It is expensive, but worth it. I was disappointed that free shipping was not available and that the shipping cost was a little high. Since I am no longer able to find it in any local store, on-line is the only way to go.5Terrific substitute for my morning cuppa joe.This tea is DELICIOUS. I'm a tea-aholic, having many many varieties in my cabinets. I recently gave up coffee for Lent (I drink two cups a day, then the rest of the day and evening I drink teas, herbals, etc.), and this blackberry sage has been my new "first thing in the morning" brew. I have come across an occasional dried blackberry...not a lot for sure, but it still has a refreshing, lite fruity taste. My only objection to Republic of Tea is the inclusion of "natural flavors"...from whence do this natural flavors come???? What's wrong with just the "natural flavor" of the actual tea leaves, fruit, flowers, etc. Why add something as ambiguous as "natural flavors". Other than that, I'm generally very satisfied by Republic of Tea selections, this one being one of my favorites.5Incredibly flavorful! Yum!I've always loved the Mango Ceylon flavor from The Republic of Tea but I don't drink my tea very dark so always found myself wasting the tea bags so when I found the loose leaf version of this to create myself customized amounts of the tea leaf I was excited! It tastes exactly the same - even just opening the container has a powerful aroma and you can even see little pieces of dried mango in it. Absolutely delicious!5Very weak.I've been very happy with Republic of Tea in the past. I especially like their vanilla almond tea that comes in bags.I was expecting the full-leaf tea to be at least as good as their bagged tea. I was wrong.This has a very weak smell and taste compared to their bagged stuff.1Doesn't tase like the same brand carried in the restaurants.I had some in a pizza restaurant in Borrego Springs, CA and like it so I looked it up on line. This is the brand and the flavor but it doesn't taste like what I had in the restaurant. Not bad, just different. And nothing I plan to buy again.3The best tea there isI have been drinking this tea for ten years or more and it is by far the best tea there is. The full but delicate flavor needs nothing to enhance its taste; in fact, I cringe when I see someone reach for lemon, milk or sugar! Brewing loose tea is a bit more trouble but in this case, well worth it.I am in charge of making tea for an annual event that our women's club sponsors and this is the tea I make for 80 attendees. I have yet to have anyone say that they don't like it. Rinse it with a little hot water while waiting for the water to boil and the leaves will bloom, enhancing the flavor.5Great light + malty alternative to British breakfast teasIt's like British breakfast, but nicely milder and it has that great malty flavor. This is pretty good if you like British breakfast teas, but think they're just a little too bitter or strong. Irish breakfast goes well alone or with milk. I wasn't sure how long loose-leaf would last, but after 2 weeks, I feel like I still have a lot after drinking it every morning. You really don't need a lot for one cup and the difference between a light brew and a strong brew isn't that much. I just pour the amount I want in the cap of the tin and then put that into my stainless steel tea basket.5Bitter almost undrinkabeleBeen drinking Bentley s tea for years but they stopped selling this tea so tried a new brand. It was very bitter and unenjoyable. No return policy so I asked for a replacement with their most popular-will update on what the company dose.1
