A very nice benchVery nicely made, very stable, very strong.I bought it for a small bathroom where it takes up just the right amount of space.The seat is comfortable regardless of what I'm (not) wearing. The seat is a bit higher than other shower benches I've used - the height makes it easier to stand up but will warn people with short shins that their feet might not reach the floor.5Beware of the unsatisfactory finish of the paint or stainThe stool was quite pretty and sturdy. But I cannot imagine what was wrong with its finish and paint. The very first time I used it, I used an ordinary bar of soap and placed it on the top of the stool. When I took the soap again after a minute or two, it stuck to the stool and caused a permanent mark on the stool-top when I lifted it up. It now has a permanent mark on the seat. Not nice. Should have been finished with a better paint or stain. Very dissatisfied with what must be yet another cheap and inferior product from China.1Problem with moldIt is with mixed feelings that I am writing this review. We have had this bench for just a year. On the one hand this is a lovely, sturdy, well-built bench. However, we have also had a problem with mold. Despite wiping it off after every use, I have even tried washing it with straight bleach regularly. It is pretty, but didn t work for us.2Quality buildWe bought this bench for my wife as she has a foot injury that requires surgery so she cant put any weight on it. I was pleasantly surprised right away when I took it out of the box as its thick, sturdy and simply looks nice. We placed this bench in the shower so the rubber feet keep the bench in its place with absolutely no sliding around. I'll go ahead and say this, I'm a cyclist so I shave my legs and find it quite helpful so now I'm finding myself using it as well. I like the little shelf thing in the middle to put small things like a razor and shaving cream on it.I'm not one to write these things but I found this bench to hit our target and more.5Perfect For My ShowerI have a relatively small shower so when renovated I didn't want a built in seat. I opted for this stool and its perfect. It provides a good seating base but doesn't take up too much room in the shower. I love the deep stain which turns out to match my vanity almost exactly. I've had it for about two weeks and has gotten wet at least once a day and so far, I don't see any problems. I guess we will see how well it holds up over time. Shipping was great since I'm a Prime member. It was packed very well and the assembly instruction were easy to follow. All in all, a very good product.5The color is beautiful and the finish is niceThis stool arrived as advertised. It is substantial, solid and fairly heavy. -that's what I wanted: since I read some reviews that mentioned light-weight bath stools having a tendency to overturn. This stool is not going to tip over unless you give it a very hard shove. It is good-feeling, real solid wood. The color is beautiful and the finish is nice: it looks more expensive than it is!4Water stain!Great stool wish it didn't have water stains! Not a fan. The stain looks like... Well you take a look 4Solved my problem, and looks good too!Very well made and arrived in good condition. It is almost exactly as advertised. My particular teak bench was darker than pictured. Still, it looks excellent in my bathroom and serves a purpose.I keep rolled up, full sized towels and washclothes on the top, and extra shampoo, conditioner, body wash and an assortment of sea sponges on the bottom shelf. Holds everything in an organized and an esthetically pleasing manner. Not at all overcrowded. Would definitely recommend.5Beautiful benchThis bench is high quality. I have been using it in my shower for about a month before writing this review. The bench has adjustable feet, so I was able to get it to sit perfectly in my shower that has a slight curve. The bench is solid and very sturdy. It is a dark color that matches perfectly with the cabinets in my bath. I am very pleased with this high quality bench!5
