Very expensive for the quality delivered. Broth watery (not rich) & taste is mediocre at best.The more I drink this broth, the less I like it. It s made by industrial giant Swanson (if you ve ever tasted their chicken stock, it tastes like water), so maybe that should have been a cue for me. I ordered three packs of 8 so I m stuck with it. Hopefully, it truly has the 10 grams of promised protein per cup. This is very expensive for the quality delivered. I ve tasted many different bone broths and the holy grail is Kettle & Fire but...damn, it s ridiculously expensive.**Tip on these: Shake beforehand & open slowly/carefully. Contents are filled to the very top. Spills easily. Also, pour contents into glass mug or bowl to microwave (you are defeating health benefits by microwaving anything in plastic ! :)2taste's amazingI had some dental surgery and bone broth was recommended to help repair my bone and also that I wasn't able to chew solid food till it healed. Took this to work with me everyday, so convienant that you can just sip right out of the container and the flavor is so good! Everytime I would sip and just say mmmm, my coworker just loved it. It's that good and with all that protein it was very filling. I now just keep some on hand for quick fuel, Love, love, love them!5I had to transfer broth to a regular coffee cup - container is too small to be effectiveI am not impressed with Swanson Sipping Bone Broth, Chicken with Ginger & Turmeric. First, the container spills. You are instructed to remove the safety seal and the top to microwave the broth. You cannot remove these tops without broth spilling. Second, you are instructed to microwave the broth for one minute. That really didn't heat the broth well. I ended up pouring the broth into a large coffee cup, to avoid any more broth spilling out.Compared to other brands of bone broth I have experienced, this was pretty bland. The main flavor was ginger. I was left pretty unsatisfied after drinking one.I wouldn't purchase this again. Mostly because the container is too small to be effective. You will spill broth on yourself using this container.3DeliciousJust delicious. It hit the spot when I was sick. I bought the whole case because I love broth. Great product. Great taste. Pretty good price...5Lots of protein taste as is not greatThe taste is tolerable but the smell is horrendous. Really have to cook it with lots of seasonings and vegetables or hold your nose if you straight out of carton.4Bone brothThe taste wasn't great, it was a little on the bitter side. It taste better when I pour it out and add my own flavors and seasonings to it. But they did grt the job done when I have to be in a liquid diet because of my diverticulitis and when I had flare ups so it helped alot during my break time at work and I'm starving and need something to keep me going.5A great way to start my day.I don't drink coffee, but like a hot cup of stock or broth to start my day. Swanson Sipping Bone Broth has become my goto to start my day. The flavor is mild, but really very satisfying compared to the boxed broth or boullion cubes I used to use. It has far less sodium than even many reduced sodium options at 460mg per container and no potassium substitutes added. The heat and serve container make it so convenient, I throw one in my backpack and sip it at my desk at work. The price can't be touched by mot other products. I'll continue to purchase and enjoy Swanson Sipping Bone Broth as a regular part of my day.5No, no and no.This was my first experience with bone broth and it was not a good one. I need to be on a clear liquid diet for a few days and was hoping this would work great. Yeeeeeah, no- hard no. If you have damage to your glossopharyngeal and olfactory nerves, look no further. Otherwise, pinch your nose and chug + follow with rigorous oral care because the taste + aftertaste is barf worthy.1Tastes like flavored water, spills easilyThis basically tastes like seasoned water or the chicken stock that comes by the quart. It doesn t have that rich bone broth flavor as the higher end varieties ( such as Brodo) so it winds up feeling unsatisfying. It would work fine as a soup base but in that case there s no point in getting the snack size and if you want collagen you d be better off just buying a hydrolyzed collagen supplement.The other issue is the second you pull back the peel it spills over, also very hard to put it in the microwave without a few drips. This doesn t happen with other soup varieties so I assume it s because of the watery texture.I do appreciate there s no sketchy additives. I got the 8 pack here on amazon for 12.44 which isn t a bad price but I wouldn t repurchase.3Maybe this type of packaging doesn't ship well.I bought a 12 pack of swanson chicken broth, an item I know is a liquid. Each package has a screw-off cap and 3 of the packages had the cap pushed in enough to cause the package to leak so a nice puddle leaking inside the box. It would seem that shipping liquids like this might be a bad idea. And a pain is the butt to clean-up and send back.1
