...I have severe dry mouth due to radiation therapy. This gum is a godsend to help sooth that. If you are looking for something to help dry mouth absolutely purchase this gum.You cannot believe the feeling I had knowing my salivary gland were destroyed. I suffered many horrible days with what felt like dry powder in my mouth. I tried every mouthwash and toothpaste for dry mouth on the market and absolutely nothing worked. The number of bottles of water I drank a day was crazy. I found this and my life actually changed. That may sound extreme but it is the truth. 600 pieces does last a long time. Even after the taste is gone it keeps on working. Fresh Fruit works for me.5Tasty, firm gumI love this stuff! The tea flavour is divine! I'm kind of a tea snob so I think if I like it, it's pretty good tea flavour. I don't like the painfully-strong gum flavours most brands use these days. Spry isn't too bad. But I am not nuts about their mint or cinnamon (my guy likes those though), they're still too strong for me. I like the tea and the fruity one, nice & flavourful but not harsh. I like that there are minimal risky ingredients too. I realised a few years back that I'd get nauseated every time I had aspartame gum, but since I chew gum mainly to freshen my mouth after a snack, sugar-sweetened products seem counterproductive. I was put off to find out that this gum sources it's xylitol from china corn. I know there are products that use birch trees to produce their xylitol from the USA. I don't know if this is as sustainable as corn or if it makes any difference at all. Any food products coming from china automatically send up my red flag so just make your research and be informed.The gum itself-Great tasting. The citrus and green tea flavors are mild and light. The mint flavors have an authentic strong taste. They texture is great and there is a nice layer of hard coating on it. Xylitol in gum really tastes like sugar to me and I am picky. I chew gum when I have to get up close to people and need to have fresh breath but other than that I don't chew every day. A few times I have noticed that chewing the gum too frequently led my teeth to become really sensitive. I keep a little bit of this gum for my kids the pieces are small and the ingredients are far better than gum at the check out line at the grocery store .makes a great treat here and there. They love the citrus flavor. 4Short On Flavor, Shorter On QualityOnly redeeming quality here is that it's natural gum/flavored with xylitol. Other than that, these are garbage. The flavor lasts only 1-2 minutes then turns into a little ball of rubber. The gum pieces are small so be aware that flavor goes by quick and it shrivels up even faster. I use these mostly when lifting so I'm OK with them turning into rubber after a minute because I can use that while lifting as a distraction, but throughout your day, these are simply awful to use. No flavor & they quickly become bland, which leads to bad breath immediately after if you chew them for too long.
