Helps with facial tics too.Love this product! My son was having a problem with facial tics, and a friend told me to try this product. He does not have attention problems, but this product almost eliminates his tics when he takes it consistently. It is also rare to find magnesium in children's vitamins, so this is a great supplement for thier diet. Make sure you buy the chewable wafers and not the tablets. The wafers taste like sweet tarts. The tablet looks like a smaller version of the wafer, but is not meant to be chewed and tastes terrible if you do. 5Great product! Give it a try.Very pleased with these wafers. My son was on prescription meds until a friend recommended these. We were paying over $100 a month for his medication. We are happy to be away from the narcotics and on this product. 5Great for ADHDMy 4 year old has severe ADHD and these work better than even prescription medication. 2 per day and his behavior is literally night and day. 5Works for touretts ticks!!!We use this for so many reasons in our home! He gets a thought in his mind and out it comes from his mouth, big distraction in class. He is 100 miles per hour until he shuts down and falls asleep. As a baby we had to use weighted blankets or he would not stay still which resulted in leg and body pains. I have spent tons of money researching ways to help him and seeking all types of mental and occupational help for him with no luck at all. It continued to get worse at school. I was no longer able to find daycare for him as a result of his behaior. I was at my wits end and our lives were pure stress and caos. I finally found this product and read the reviews. I thought it was worth a try. He's been on it two weeks now. He takes two tabs in the morning only. The first day on it was hell, he had a serious melt down at school and had in-school suspension, but I kept giving it to him. About three days in a major change started to be noticed. He hasn't had any major behavior issues and has been doing much better, he is more typical child behaviors now. He has been comming home happy because he has been earning various prizes for his behavior changes. This has started to increase his confidence and has started him on getting excited about school. So far this supplaments has been the best thing that has happened to our family. We are able to enjoy fun family activities (he has two older brothers) without him having a break down and I haven't revived any further phone calls from his school or any negative reports from his brothers. His brothers were spending a lot of their time ensuring he wasn't gettinf into trouble at school and also making saceaficies in order to keep him from having a break down. Best of luck! 5Caution / Misleading / Caused nose bleedI read the reviews (somehow I only saw the great ones till I dug deeper) and figured it was worth trying. For starters the "wafer" is like a large vitamin C dissolvable tablet. Wafer implies thin. It is not thin and was challenging for my 7 year old son. The "suggested use" for 5-8 is 1 to 2 wafers once daily. My son was diagnosed with ADHD and he is having a problem in school paying attention, sitting still and being quite. He is a solid boy at 60 pounds so I started him off with two since he is a hard case. Within days he started experiencing sudden nose bleeds which has NEVER happened. We took him off the supplement and read up on the product further. No surprise the nose bleeds stopped and what I found stunned me. In a chat room a representative said the recommended dose for a child under 120 pounds should only be 1 (ONE) wafer! I was sooo pisst. That was NOT stated on the label. Even after finding this information out I am NOT going to use this product as I feel the "suggested use" language is an attempt to have customers use more product than they should have to. I can get past the "wafer" description however I can NOT get past the misleading language. Read the blogs, chat rooms and other posts not just reviews! 1This is what my son needed.I have a son who has no diagnosis, still I was getting comments from the kinder teacher that he could not focus. I thought it could be that he was trouble with his sight so I took him to an optometrist. The optometrist saw him and identified he had hypermetropia.
