No artificial sweetenersI am elated to have found a good tasting protein bar without Sugar Alcohols or other artificial sweeteners. It seems like 90% of the protein bar market is made up of bars advertising 0 sugar mea while they contain copoius amounts of artificial sweeteners to wreck my gut.I've tried the chocolate and lemon so far. The lemon is good but a bit much... If you only kind of like lemon, its not for you. The chocolate on the other hand has to be one of my all time favorite chocolate protein bars.I look forward to trying new flavors soon! 5Good meal replacement replacement for person who suffers from nauseaI live with chronic migraines, which often are accompanied with rather ugly nausea. (When o when will Virginia legalize CBD oil treatments?) These protein and carbohydrate energy bars (fortified with vitamins) make an excellent meal replacement system that I can keep down pretty easily. I get two boxes each month with subscribe and save and have plenty on hand for when I need to avoid greasy meals. My only complaint is that they are often packaged with other, heavier items when shipped and I get mangled bars. I doesn't seem to ruin the taste or nutritional content, but it does make them less appetizing. Not enough of an effect to cancel my orders, but enough to give me pause sometimes. 4Where have these been all my life?!?!These are SOOOoooo good!!! Let me first say, I rarely write a review (maybe once every other year). But these are too good to not give them props!! I seriously did not feel like I was eating a protein bar! I made several family members try them, and they loved them too! They asked me to order them some. These are so soft they're almost gooey. This really is like a treat. I'm going to have to control myself to not eat too many in one day! Side note, they're really big for a protein bar. Because they are so big, they keep me full for a long time, and leave me satisfied, instead of looking for a snack in half an hour. Lol Promax Protein bars were something we could buy off the commissary list. It was a treat to me. I actually would go against the rules and trade other inmates stuff in order to have enough for my daily fix.When I got home after my stay with the state of Missouri I said. I want to see if I can get those Promax bars. I of course found them on Amazon ordered three boxes a month on my subscriptions. Just noticed the size of the bar to be smaller. And now the taste. I am gonna have to say, I m canceling my subscription. What a sad thing to change.Before the review would of been 5 All the way around. 5Great tasting protein bars.My son s live these bars. They say the flavor is great but they feel like they aren t as soft as they were in the past. Not sure if something has changed or if we got an old box or something. I have them on auto ship but if we receive any more hard bars, I won t repurchase. 520 grams of protein and they actually taste good! I use these bars as an afternoon snack ...20 grams of protein and they actually taste good! I use these bars as an afternoon snack after working out. The protein is necessary to help rebuild the muscles that were broken down during my workout. They are much more nutritious than a Snickers bar and they definitely will satisfy my after workout hunger pains.I use to purchase these bars from another on-line source, but I switched to Amazon, because the other source was always sending me old, stale bars. Amazon's supply has always been fresh! Thank you very much. 5Not too sweetI'm not a bid fan of protein bars. I find them either too sweet or the texture of cardboard. The Promax Double Fudge Brownie is pretty good. I'm on my third box and I'm still not tired of it. I usually eat half before my workout and the other half after on the way home. Or I eat it for lunch when I don't have time to prepare a real meal. The boxes I've received have expiration dates over six months away, but I eat 2-3 a week so I haven't had to worry about them expiring. The only problem I have is that it melts when you leave it in a hot car...duh. The only other flavor I've tried is the cookies and cream and I find it more sweet than the fudge brownie. 5If they weren't often delivered stale, I'd have given 5 stars!When the Double Fudge Brownie bars are fresh, they are by far my favorite protein bar. I travel a lot and love to have them when I don't have time to stop for a meal. The problem is that about 30% of the time, the case I get is full of stale (chalky, grey) product. I always tell Amazon, and usually they send another case, no questions asked, which is nice, but it can be frustrating when I'm about to go on a trip and the box I order is not good! I don't know if this is the fault of the product or how Amazon stores/ships them, but I hope the problem gets resolved! 3I like how these was tasteI like how these was taste! There a bit tough to chew, but I don't mind it. The bars are good, but they are not the "healthiest;" I just bought them because of the taste. It sucks how it has a lot of sugar! 28g of sugar! Really? It also has 37g of carbs! :( At this point I think I would have been better of with eating some chocolate ice cream :) 3
