Keep your feet warm and comfortable with pedag Solar insoles. Since you lose a lot of heat through your feet, these inserts are designed to protect them from frostbite during cold weather activities, like shoveling snow, skiing, or high altitude hiking.
The top of the insert is quilted, which helps to trap heat and keep your toes toasty warm. The middle layer provides most of the insulation, and is made of a foam with thousands of closed air cells. The bottom layer is made from a special thermal aluminum that helps to reflect the outside cold.
As there is no specific contouring or shaping, the insoles' effectiveness isn't dependent on bone or muscle development. European sizes go from 35 to 48, which fits standard US sizes Women 5 up through Men 15. Looking for something to protect your children's feet from the cold? If your size falls in between, pick the next size up and trim to fit. This also includes narrow feet, or wedge shaped feet where the heel is narrow but the ball and toes are a normal or extra wide width. Just line up the instep of your foot with the inner curve of the insert, and trim the front and heel to match. Try not to trim them too small to prevent slippage, or leave too big to avoid cramping in the shoe.
Due to some of the materials used, these insoles are not washable. They are 0.16 inches thick. Depending on the kind of shoe you want to use them in, they can reduce the amount of space for your foot. It is recommended you wear them in closer fitting shoes around your home for at least 30 minutes before going out. If they feel uncomfortable, you may need to try a different style of footwear.

CozyI work down in a basement and in the winter all my heat seems to be sucked from my feet into the cold concrete. I had added these to my 'shoes' and I was very comfortable all winter. If I put these in proper shoes or boots, they would definitely keep my feet much warmer without a lot of added bulk. They have held up well and will be using them again next year. 5Short & Narrow: best for dress shoes, order up several sizes.Too narrow for men's shoes- as most (all?) Pedag are cut narrow- they're just as pictured. These are slim so they were easy to cut yet are made well & are substantial enough to not roll up every time I took my foot out of my shoe (as cheap ones do). These seem very warm, have thin foam layer & foil later which I found works very well when walking on cold floors/ground. I order a size up and these are still 1/2" -3/4" too short: the size ten I bought were short in my size 9 shoes by a substantial amount. Order way up in size- not for wide shoes like a Dansko or a casual boot (this is too narrow for any shoe with a substantial toe box.) 5Not designed for work bootsWhile the concept is good, the design has some serious flaws. These would work well in ladies shoes or shoes that are thinner/narrower. In work boots for which was my purpose for buying them, they didn't work out at all. I work outside year-round and was looking for some insulation to shield my feet from the cold penetrating through the soles of my boots. I think the insulation may have worked, but since the insoles were significantly narrower than my boots, the insoles wound up being repositioned. Even at the widest width, the insoles were small and I'd bought one size larger. Consequently, there were gaps permitting the coldness of the ground to seep through. Wouldn't buy these again unless the plan were to use them in a dress shoe or something... but definitely NOT in boots. Not sure if I'd even try buying them two sizes larger and then trimming them down. 3Does the job! Helps with Raynauds syndrome!I have Raynauds syndrome and thought these would help. They do! I will probably get another pair for the winter next year. It has been mild this winter but on the colder days that we have had I had these in slippers, boots and shoes. 5Warm, thin, but quite narrow in widthThese are good insoles and help keeping my feet warm. They are quite thin so they don't crowd your feet. The thing I don't like as much is that they are very narrow in width. That is, they don't cover the bottom of the shoes I bought for them. So I am leaving the insole from the shoes in, and putting these on top. Personally I would like them to be a bit wider, one could always cut them to fit if they were too wide. They are comfy on your feet! 4He's a much happier healther person when his feet are warmThese are for my airline guy that flies on average 4 days a week. His feet get very cold in the aircraft. These have helped to keep the cold from coming from the floor up. Also with our cold winter weather they make a dig differance with the silver reflective part of the insert facing to the floor rather than your foot as other brands are to be worn. We've spent a lot of $ on the chemically reactive warmer that last just a few hours at about a dollar a day. He's a much happier healther person when his feet are warm. 5I would recommend them to any oneI bought a light weight pair of boots for the winter when it was not storming out but knew that my feet would be cold even with heavy socks, which I had allowed for. The insoles did the trick. I have not had cold feet or toes with these in my boots. I would recommend them to any one. 5They work great if you get the sizing rightNeeded thin insulating insoles for my vibram furoshiki... They were transferring too much heat through the soles. I followed other reviewers recommendations to go two sizes up (normally I'm a size 8 and went with a size 10). I only had to trim a little off the length, not so much the length. They are pretty narrow. So if you have pretty wide feet, go three sizes up. Besides sizing issues, these insoles are really insulating and the wool is comfortable...i could wear these without socks! Exactly what I needed. They don't seem to move... they have a slightly tacky texture to make them stay in place. Let's see how that holds up. 4So warm!So warm!!! I have Raynauds and these are wonderful! I can stand on cold concrete, in snow, walk on ice, and my feet stay warm. I have trouble keeping my feet warm because the cold seeps up through the soles of my winter boots, these completely block that And they reflect some heat back at my toes. I only gave four stars though, because they need to be wider to fit completely across a boot, and they are a bit flimsy so sometimes they fold when I take my boot off. I just lay them back in flat and it fixes that problem. I have size 7 in a size 7 boot, and from toe to heel they are perfect, but side to side there is maybe a quarter inch of space not covered. My boots are standard width, a pair of wides would have even more trouble. Otherwise, these little insoles are perfect! 4Great insoles, but NARROW!I purchased these for a pair of Corcoran boots that made my feet feel like I was walking on ice. I am very happy with their performance - the soles of my feet stay warm but do not get too hot. I did find, however, that these insoles run very narrow. I am usually about a women's 7 but I ordered a women's 8 just in case they ran small (which they did - I had to trim very little off the toe). I can feel the edge of the insole on either side of my foot. I am going to have to purchase a bigger size and trim them. If you have narrow feet or don't mind adjusting the size with scissors though, I would definitely recommend these! 4
