Wonderful...but pricey$$These pads are wonderful! I have experienced irritation from other well known brands of pads. These pads are a lifesaver! When I first received them I did a comparison with them and the Always Infinity brand that I always buy. I first smelled the pads when I opened them ( I know sounds weird...LOL) but I could actually smell the plastic ingredients that Always uses! I mean I have never ever smelled it before...but I guess I never had anything else to compare them to. I couldn't believe that I have been putting these types of pads near my skin for YEARS! Never again.....,I will be buying these from now on going forward. The only thing I don't care for is the price....they are a little steep..but they are worth it! 5Regular commercial pads make me sick. These don't!After Always changed their pads in 2013 I developed a sensitivity to them that manifested as a UTI every cycle. (As if having your period isn't enough torture.) After months of discomfort, worry and negative tests at the doctor's office I finally figured it out. The results of my research into alternative feminine hygiene products is as follows: if you are sensitive to commercial pads that contain plastics and chemicals, your options come down to 1) cotton disposable pads, 2) "mama cloth" reusable cloth pads, and 3) a cup such as the diva cup (basically a silicone shotglass that is worn internally like a tampon). Mama cloth sounds gross, but it's actually very comfortable (no crinkly noises and sweaty plastic in your underwear) and it isn't soggy or smelly. It is a little inconvenient to carry around and to wash, though. I found that pads with PUL (waterproof backing) and synthetic fabrics like minky also caused me issues so if you are trying them go for organic cotton and hemp pads. You can find sellers on Etsy. I bought a diva cup but never used it. Some women swear by it, especially because it allows you to do things like swim while you're having your period. Finally, cotton disposable pads. I chose Organyc over the less expensive Natracare because a reviewer said she developed a sensitivity to the wood pulp filling in Natracare pads. Organyc pads are slightly expensive (about $1 apiece) but so worth it not to have an infection every month. After reading reviews for Organyc's other products I settled on the night time ones because the day ones apparently don't stay in place. These are thin and long and the wings keep them where they should be. They are pretty much exactly the same as your regular pads, so there's no mental acclimating necessary as with mama cloth or a cup. If you are having pain, dermatitis or UTIs associated with your period, try these. You will not go back to your regular pad. 5Not for those who has heavy cycles as advertisedThis is not for those with heavy flow period. I used a entire box in one day, it bleeds right thru. The one star is for the fact while I am wearing I don't feel it affecting my ph balance like always infinty or and other counter brands. But at least with always, I don't bleed write truly and soak myself. Especially overnight when I bleed the heaviest. I would give it no stars if it wasn't for it being better suited for my ph balance. I want my money back!!!! 1I'm sad to leave this review for these padsI'm sad to leave this review for these pads. I have lichen sclerosis, and I was hoping to find an alternative to always infinity pads, which make my condition worse. These pads seems to work alright... When they stay in place. The sticky parts of the pad don't stay sticky for long, maybe like 2 hours and then it all bunches up. I normally wear super in always or Tampax, but soak through a heavy of these pads in 3 hours. Lastly, they are pretty expensive, and there's not many in each box. I have to use two boxes in order to get through my whole period. I will try to size up and hope that maybe the heavier duty versions don't bunch as much. Wish me luck!Edit: Just one hour after posting this review, I went to work with a fresh pad on and bled all over my office chair because the pad folded in on itself again. I have changed my rating to a one. No matter how absorbent it is, if it doesn't stay in place there is no point. 1Very pleasedThese pads really blew me away! I normally have heavy periods on my 2nd and 3rd dats. I tried one on my third day and to my surprise it lasted longer than actual coton pads! Only stained a little and it washed right out. You don't see all that gross period when you look at it, they somehow made it so it settles in the middle and barely visublets on top. Great buy! 5... this product for several months now and I really enjoy it. The stick on the wings is lacking ...I have used this product for several months now and I really enjoy it. I have to make sure everything is in place and hold it there for a second, but it stays for the rest of the time I'm wearing it. I wear these at night or on heavy days and they work great. For many years I used the 'always' pads and they would cause irritation after having to wear them for a few days. The Organyc's are great, no irritation at all. If you have a constant heavy flow, I would say you may have to change these more frequently as compared to 'always'. I also have used the 'moderate flow' Organyc for the day time and they were great. 4Too thinWay too thin and short.. need to be thicker and longer..I don't sleep in one position I need something that will move with me so I don't leak on my sheet or panties. 2Saved my life during my post partum weeks! I ...Saved my life during my post partum weeks! I have been allergic to pads for years, haven't worn them in so so long and didn't even think about it when I made frozen aloe vera pads. Took less than a week after I had my baby to be even more miserable from the pads I was wearing than I was from just having a baby. These helped me heal and survive the following 7 weeks of bleeding...only issue is I had to use quite a few of them because they aren't extremely absorbent, and also expensive for how many come in a package. 5I was hoping I would like these, but noI read the negative reviews, and I also read the positive, before I ordered. I was hoping I would like these, but no! I tried them because I try to use all things organic.They do bunch, and either, they are not very absorbent or the lining against your panties is crap - actually I am convinced both. At best they are a strainer, glorified paper towel, seriously. I don't understand the good reviews. Never buy these again. 1Definitely NOT overnight padsI like that they are organic and biodegradable and all that, however, these are simply not long enough to be efficient for overnight. And, they are awful thin. They work more like a regular pad for moderate flow. I'm disappointed because I really need an true overnight pad that has all the natural qualities this brand offers. What's so hard about making a pad that is about 15" long. Its a few inches. Seriously!! 3
