Not the worst matchaDry tasting (like tea that's been brewing for too long), but not bitter. Very dark green --almost brown -- when mixed with water. I've had more palatable matcha but this is still an excellent quality. Just a little too dry for my tastes.4Very smoothMostly many know that Matcha green tea powder gives a boost in energy without the jitters and swings. Having consumed Matcha for years as a green tea latte (with Almond milk and either agave or brown sugar), I've developed a sense of what texture works best for me. One of the requirements is it be very smooth. Almost velvety. And Enzo's satisfies that. The smoothness and it being organic make Enzo's a favorite for me. I highly recommend it.5Quality Product That Works!I love the matcha by Enzo. The first time I tried it, I got the results that the product stated and the results I needed. I am often sluggish, with difficulty focusing. I wanted something to keep me alert but I ended up finding a product with "health benefits," LOL. Have not had late in day fearing sleep interference.5Matcha Green Tea Ceremonial Grade for FrappucinoEarlier this year I had matcha tea in Tokyo, Japan and since then I have tried several different matchas. I looked up a recipe online to make a matcha green tea frappucino and it did feel good 1) making it at home myself 2) being able to select the best quality ingredients that go into my food and 3) drinking and enjoying it. I did find the taste super comparable to the Starbucks green tea frappucino and after making/drinking this drink with sugar I could tell how much more (a lot more) sugar is made in the Starbucks drink. I also bring the packet to work and drink it with hot water in the morning. I just use a spoon to stir in a little matcha in a coffee mug. A little goes a long way and at this rate of drinking a cup twice a week, this packet will last me over a year. Also I don't drink coffee so I may be sensitive to caffeine, but I did feel quite a lot of energy and alertness after drinking this drink. Drinking this hot drink at work at 8am and feeling alert driving home from work at 5pm may have been from the tea.5I use to buy a green tea frapp., ...I use to buy a green tea frapp., at StarBucks everyday, while at work, which was very costly & trying to get one on my 10 min., break was somewhat impossible.
