Bad StuffI don't like this brand. Their B vitamins do little. I switched and found I felt great taking Vita Code. I bought NOW for years and wondered why I felt like garbage. Their Vitamin C is Ascorbic Acid, this is a man made chemical derived mostly from GMO Corn and starch that has no vitamin c in it anyway, not only is it a GMO and bad for you but it has no vitamin c in it. "L"-Asorbic Acid is a whole food derived, true vitamin C. I switched and did a flush with this and after a week I feel amazing. If a company is misleading like this I don't trust them with anything. And their B vitamins suck. 1Great for liver.I love this product. I use it nightly (liver heals at night, so it's best to take it at bedtime) to keepy liver healthy and to assist in detoxing.For the price point, it's the best one I have found. 5Helped my son with OCDMy teenage son has been suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder for several years. We tried many different things including cognitive therapy, EFT and inositol supplement with no relief. It was breaking my heart to see his agony and I started reading research papers on the subject. I found a paper that discussed milk thistle as a treatment for OCD and that it's as effective or better than Prozac to treat OCD. Although I was skeptical since we already tried so many things with no avail, we started a regimen of one capsule of this product twice a day. We started to notice improvement with OCD within a month. Now it has been three months and his OCD went from an 8 to a 2 on zero to ten scale. This is a tremendous improvement especially since OCD is known to be very difficult to treat. I have never written a review before even though I have been buying from Amazon for many years. But this time I decided to write one to share this information. Maybe it can help someone else like it did for my boy. 5Great for beer drinkersI love my expensive craft beer... so this really helps not to kill my liver. Recommended for alcoholic consumers everywhere! 5I Take It Every Day!I take this for my "fatty liver." I hope to prevent it from escalating to Non-Alcoholic Cirrhosis. It seems to be working as I have less liver pain. For my adult children that drink, I tell them to be sure and take Silymarin. I hope it works for them. 5feel great, liver panel normalI ended up with fatty liver from years of alcohol abuse. I stopped drinking, but still had pain. I used Dr Tobias and Trunature, but still had some pain. I got these, taking them 3x a day...no pain, feel great, liver panel normal. Even if you are still drinking, milk thistle can help minimize/repair the damage...of course best to quit altogether. 5 stars 5Drink a few times a week?If you have a few drinks a week and do not want for that to affect your liver panels negatively, this is a must take product. Personally, my counts went from high (not double but higher than normal) to perfectly normal in 2 months. Amazing. However, I need to point out that if you do have real health issues, this is not going to help. Go see a doctor. 5My mom asked to write this review, it may ...My mom asked to write this review, it may help others. About 3 years ago my mom had liver serious problems. At that time she was not able to get treatment with a specialist. Her physician said to take silymarin daily. Since there she hasn't stopped taking it. And also about two, three times a week she has a green juice made with kale, spinach, cucumber, celery, beet, lemon, carrot, apple, ginger and turmeric root, and cilantro.She says, is it a lot of work? yeas, it is, but worth it. She just came from the doctor and she has a healthy liver. 5Reduced my AST and ALT in half!This supplement is magic. Reduced my liver enzymes in half in as a little as a month. It also cleared up the white in my eyes. 5If your liver needs a little helpI had some wonky liver test results and have read that in Germany a pharmaceutical grade extract is used to treat patients who have eaten toxic mushrooms with excellent success. My doctor is skeptical about supplements but he couldn't argue with the results: the elevated level of liver enzymes promptly cleared up. I know these products aren't intended to "diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease" but it can't hurt, and something did help, so I'm giving it the credit. 5
