Great for Calm NightsI ve had anxiety issues for several years and started having trouble sleeping last year. These help me feel calm without making me groggy, allowing me to sleep peacefully again.I can take one to calm my nerves or two to help me truly rest. It s been a wonderful addition to my daily routine, and I know that I can use them day or night to help relax me.5Excellent for my anxiety!I have tried all sorts of natural remedies for my anxiety attacks in the past, but after finding out scullcap, I no longer needed to look any further. It works in about the same amount of time as Xanax, has the same effectiveness as Xanax, but doesn't leave you feeling like you got hit by a truck after it wears off like Xanax. Not only that, but I find I only need it once in awhile if that. It also quells the rage and depression I feel during PMS 3 days out of the month (my husband is so happy for that).I recommend Nature's Way brand to anyone!5Perfect to calmI have tried the Hylands nerve tonics ect, but always go back to Natures Way herbs, cuz they work. This did. I open the capsule and put the powder in hot water, makes a tea. or just open capsule and dunk it onto tongue. It really calms me down. I have tried the valerian, and that only works to get rid of hiccups and makes you sluggish. So I went to Scullcap, and that does the job, right away my stomach relaxed and I felt calm. Thank You.5Made me feel sickFor me, this did not work. I notmally take another brand of Skullcap that is $20, but decided to try this for the cost savings. It did the opposite of what the other brand did. Gave me heart palpitations, couldnt sleep, and made me feel dizzy. I tried the recommend dose and even a half dose. It was the same dosing and mg count as the other brand. So I m not sure why it seemed too strong for me. Maybe it would work for others, but it is just not working for me.2SLEEP, no spasms!If you're spending a fortune on Kava because it barely does anything for you, this is the herb to move to, for sure. It makes me feel like I am drunk and high at the same time. I was actually afraid to go to sleep last night because it felt like I was dying. Fortunately, I just got a really deep, sound sleep. I normally have to take an entire cocktail of OTC supplements to get to sleep - a sleeping formula, valerian, a prescription antihistamine, and benadryl. I did that last night, and added this. Previous to taking this, my doctor had prescribed the medication propranolol, but I always look for any way out of taking medicine and this supplement did the trick. No shaking or tremors, which as anyone who is diagnosed with essential tremors knows, makes a huge difference.I highly recommend this supplement as an alternative for the above described condition.5Another Great Herbal Supplement from Nature's WayThis herb helps with anxiety attacks. I am normally not without it on hand. However, it is not for everybody. Please read the precautions on the bottle. For those of us that don't have any problems taking this herb, it does help if you suffer from anxiety. I do not use it on a daily basis, just what I need it. I would recommend that if you want to try Scullcap, you try Nature's Way first. I have always found this brand to be reliable. I wanted something natural to help me get to sleep at night (I often have mild anxiety that can prevent me from falling asleep) and this has done the trick. I really like it, it is natural and works subtly- not like a Tylenol PM that can hit you like a freight train and leave you groggy in the morning. I have no side-effects or morning after-effects. I take two of these with my magnesium supplement about 30-60 minutes before bed and I get sleepy and have no problems staying asleep once I fall asleep. So far I feel it works well and will continue to use this product.5
