Helpful for boosting milk supplyI used this along with Fenugreek to boost my milk supply while nursing. Seemed to increase my supply, and it didn't upset my stomach or baby's. Would recommend to other nursing moms. 5fenugreek and blessed thistle are amazing!i am so thankful for this herb! i had a lot of trouble with milk production. i visited the lactation consultant they recommended frequent pumping (12 x a day!) and it helped a little but not enough. I continued to do research because I was desperate i wanted to breastfeed my son so bad, my whole pregnancy i was looking forward to bonding with my son in a way no one else could. i found out the fenugreek was used so i bough it and again it helped but still not enough my son still woke up every 2 hours to eat! I also noticed that my son was very fussy he was very gassy and would cry a lot! the fenugreek alone also constipated me so I did more search and I read that the combination of blessed thistle and fenugreek were great for increasing milk production. I bought it and I've been drinking it for 2 days and i can't already see a world of difference. my son is no longer in pain because of the gas, i am no longer constipated, and my breast are always full of milk! I'm going back to work in a month so I'm already building up my milk supply in the freezer. these two herb were honestly the answer to my prayers, i guess the only down side is that i smell like maple syrup! i did research and it says that these herbs will make you smell like maple syrup. 5For moms looking to increase milk production.Didn t notice a difference in my milk supply 2I hate to give this product 3 stars but I took ...I hate to give this product 3 stars but I took these upon recommendation for helping milk production while nursing. They didn't seem to help. I don't know if it's just me, but was disappointed that these didn't help. Nursed for almost a year and a half but had to supplement with formula. 3Prepare to poopI bought this to help increase my milk supply while nursing. While it did not help at all with that, it did help me poop the day after I started taking it - which is something I did not need help doing to begin with. When I wasn t nursing or pregnant i was taking it to regulate my menstrual cycle. Two a day. It helped regulate my hormones (a nutritionist suggested I try it before any prescriptions) because I would get crazy mood swings and sometimes I literally felt like I wasn t myself. It totally helped me. I was less irritable (and living in a huge city with awful traffic and drivers made that difficult). Then when I became pregnant I stopped taking it until after I gave birth and then I started using it to keep my milk production up for nursing. It s been awesome!!! 5Helped milk production!I used blessed thistle in conjunction with fenugreek and had noticeable increase in my milk supply while nursing. I did take about six capsules of each per day but started noticing a difference around the second or third day. If you are struggling with your milk supply, I highly recommend this same combo 5
