Shame on me. Shame on Natrol. Any suggestions?Just purchased. Shame on me. I broke my rule...Read the label and research anything that you don t know about.If you re on a keto diet and / or care about your overall health, you might check the ingredients in this product. Too many suspect ingredients for me. Natrol was a brand that I trusted once upon a time. I ve already put the pills where they belong, (the trash). Anyone have any suggestions for biotin? 1Definitely does what it promisesI love this stuff, I have been taking one daily for the past three months now and I have seen improvement in the following areas:1. My hair grows longer much more quickly2. The crown of my head is looking fuller, and I definitely see new hair growth in the areas I felt were thinning3. My hair actually feels stronger (I regularly deep condition and use products for damage control as well as taking the biotin)I haven't seen much difference in my nails but this review is for it's effect on hair growth. The ONE negative would be that it really does trigger hair growth all over your body, so know that going into it. I am middle eastern and have enough body hair to wax and tweeze as it is, but ever since the biotin I've found myself spending a lot more time removing unwanted hair... 5It works!I love that it's vegan and 1000 mcg. I don't want to take too much. Purchased this in hopes of making my finger nails stronger. My nails are a bit stronger and my hair is in better condition. The unexpected benefit is that I haven't experienced any leg cramps since taking this. Sometimes in the middle of the night I would wake with terrible "knots" in my legs and ankles. I had read that biotin could help with restless leg syndrome. I have been giving it to my husband and he doesn't believe any supplements work. He says his restless leg syndrome has decreased. We will continue to take Natrol Biotin because it is working for many reasons! 5IT WORKS.It does make my hair grow faster.This is the first time I try biotin. Drink a lot of water (10 glass or more a day) and exercise for 30 minutes 5 times a week, but still gives me acne, but not that severe. If you really wanna add biotin to your supplement list, I suggest start with the lowest dosage.Some people said that they experience no acne problem. I guess everyone's body reacts differently. 3Quality product; soy free :)Great price for a great product. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. Her physician advised her to limit or remove completely products with soy in them. You would be amazed how difficult of a task this is. Natrol is one of the few brands that I have found that offer products that do not include soy. This biotin has been amazing for my mother and she is glad to get it from a trusted name like Natrol. The biotin has helped my mom's thinning hair start to show signs of thinning and she is thrilled beyond words. As always, I suggests speaking with your health adviser prior to making any medication changes. 5Keeps hair on your head, not the floorThis definitely has kept our hair on our heads! My husband and I were both losing hair and found out it was a side effect from some of the medications we were taking. We started taking this and the fall out stopped and hair began to regrow. My hair stylist noticed it before I did then I checked my husband and his was regrowing too. We swear by it for this purpose. 5Good so far!I researched biotin after getting a terrible haircut, and was hoping to give my hair a little extra help growing out. I chose the 1000mcg over the 5000 or even 10,000 because let's face it, your body only absorbs so much before the unused amount is "expelled". I actually like the strawberry flavor. Even my very picky husband said it was pretty good. I can't say for sure that it's making my hair grow faster, but I have noticed stronger, faster growning nails. :) 5Needed this more than I realized.My nails were splitting and lost hairs seemed not to be growing. Research indicated trying Biotin. It took about 1/2 of the container, but my nails are no longer splitting. Can't say it did much for hair loss. I will continue taking it, however, because I'm pleased with the nail growth and strength. 5Helping my hair grow long!I've been taking this biotin regularly for the past 8 weeks or so and I have noticed an increase in hair and nail growth. Keep in mind, biotin does not know the difference between your head hair, armpit hair, eyebrows, leg hair, etc; so be prepared for an increase in that as well.My hair always seemed to stop growing at a particular point in the middle of my back, but after taking biotin, it has finally surpassed that length and is almost to my waist. I have also noticed new growth along my hairline which had become uneven due to using silicone hair rubber bands that pulled on my hair. I'd say I've gotten 4-5 inches of new hair growth so far.My eyelashes have always been long, but they are now growing longer and thicker. I've recently noticed that my lower lashes are getting longer too.I like my nails short, so it has been a little annoying that my nails are also growing faster than usual, but that's fine. I wish I'd been using this a while back when I smacked my finger with a hammer and had a blood blister under my nail so it would have advanced faster. I will keep that in mind if it happens again.The tablets are quite small so they are easy to swallow and don't seem to upset my stomach at all regardless of what time of day I take them or if I've eaten anything recently.I'd say the biggest drawback to this is having to shave more often, but for the amazing hair growth I have been getting, it is certainly worth it!I decided to get the "subscription" to this so I can continue taking it for a while, which is convenient and provides a lower price than a 1-time purchase. 5Makes a difference but doesn't come in great conditionI've noticed a significant difference in the quality of my hair and the chewable tablets are great, but a lot of them come broken in the container. 4
