Great brush setComes in cute box perfect for gifting... as for practical i had to go get my girl a waterbrush as she was born with lomg thin hair that goes wild and tangles and these dont really work well for those... they make great teething toys tho. Brush is grwat at slicking hair down . We do use this bit after the water brush and comb for baby to hold so she wont try grabbing the one you using... they seem to be well made. Comb just seems thick to be practical but of made thinner it prob be not very safe. My bold boys never need any of these til later. My 2 now 3 yr old loves to brush his hair with these 4Check Before Giving As A GiftThe gift set is beautiful but it came with the soft brush bristles heavily leaning to one side like someone sat a book on it. This is from the way it was package. There was nothing to protect it at all. The other brush was missing some bristles and you could see the holes like someone removed them.Really sad as I liked this set. 1Beautiful set!I mainly bought these to use the thin wooden comb & the wide toothed one on my daughter! Which I still use and absolutely love! They de tangle her her hair so well! I just had baby #2 a month ago and use Tom he soft bristle brush on him, I was worried with him getting cradle cap it wouldn t work well but it s done amazing!! And even has helped remove his cradle cap! The only downside is the bristles do fall off it s not excessive whatsoever just one or two here and there but they do fall. I have no problem with it! We always get asked where we bought them because they look so expensive and when people see they re from amazon they are honestly shocked!! They also would make a great gift!! 5Soft & Gentle!Full confession: I did not buy this for a baby, I bought it for myself since I have extremely fine and fragile hair that is breaking off. My stylist even recommended I never brush or comb my hair while it is dry because it's so prone to breakage. So, I thought buying something designed for fine, delicate baby hair might help because it's hard to only comb/brush my hair once a day when my hair is when after I take a shower. I love this set! Even though the set is a bit small (it's designed, after all, for a baby), the wooden "massage brush" is perfect for detangling my hair. The "bristles" on the massage brush are soft and flexible enough so that it helps detangle my hair without too much resistance that causes my hair to break off. The brush with the goat hair bristles is super soft. I'm not able to use harder, more firm bristles to massage the scalp due to the reasons above. It might be a little too soft to adequately massage an adult head, but it does feel nice and, then again, it is made for a baby. The comb is also good, but small (again, made for a baby). In any case, this would make an excellent, soft and well-made baby gift! It is also very useful for adults who have hair like mine and you need extremely gentle treatment. 5Love the natural wood and goat bristles - and no smell!I bought this for our 2 month old daughter and really love it. It came super quick, is beautifully packaged, and is exactly how it looks and is described online. The comb is indeed a bit small, as other reviewers have said, but it is still useful. The brushes are great, and the perfect size. I love the natural wood and goat bristles and there is absolutely no "goaty" smell - it is a wonderful product! By the way the company is family-owned and they contact the buyer right away to see if you are satisfied, which is really nice. 5It worked like a charmThis set is very high quality and is worth the money. My baby started to get dandruff/cradle cap, and we started using the two brushes twice a day (hard bristles first to increase circulation, then the goat's hair brush to smooth and take off flakes). It worked like a charm. Now, baby's scalp looks great! The brushes are very pretty and look good on the dresser, too. 5Great for babies!When my baby boy was born he had a lot of hair! He is 14 month old right now and his hair grow so fast. I used those sponges with bristles on the other side to brush his hair to prevent cradle cap. But I never liked it. The plastic bristles come apart. And I ended up throwing it away.If I knew that there is wooden brushes, especially made for babies, I would buy it from day 1! I received it yesterday and when I touched it...it is sooo soft! I brushed my son's hair and he really liked it! I wish they had a bigger size for adults. I would buy it for myself. Because I also have a lot hair and they are long.The price is great for 3 brushes. You pay for the quality. It is a great gift for every mother! Babies will love it! I highly recommend it!!!!! The natural goat hair bristles are gentle on my baby's skin yet exfoliates and does the trick on super fine newborn hair. Beautiful bamboo handles and it arrives in a lovely box and artsy burlap pouch cinched closed with a satin ribbon. Perfect for storing and gifting. This product is a "save and pass on to yours kid's kids". I recommend this product. It has become my go to baby shower gift, too. 5Lovely brush set!EDIT: Natemia customer service reached out to me immediately and offered to ship out a replacement set, and it arrived in perfect condition! I haven't tried the two wooden brushes yet as my baby doesn't have much hair on her little head, but she LOVES the soft bristled brush. It does shed bristles a little bit, but it gets the job done -- making her hair soft while getting some mild cradle cap flakes under control -- and makes both her and I very happy.Original Review: The comb and hair bristle brush were both great, but like many other reviewers my other brush arrived with one of the brush parts snapped off. I don't know about you, but I'm not comfortable brushing my baby's hair with a brush that has a jagged and sharp wooden spike on it. (The box it arrived in was new and undamaged, and the broken part was NOT in the box, so it was broken prior to packaging and shipping.) 5Beautiful Set, Would Make a Great GiftBaby hasn't arrived yet, so I can't provide a review regarding how well these items do/do not work for an infant, BUT, I am beyond pleased with the quality of these items. I was looking for something natural, yet durable for baby and this brush/comb set seems to be really top notch, especially for the price! It came in a very nice box and the brushes (not the comb) were in their own little bags. This would be a very nice gift for a new mom who might not like the traditional "grooming kits" available in big box stores. I did try it on my own hair - both brushing and for scalp massage and it seemed very gentle. The natural bristle brush would probably be very nice for cradle cap/scalp massage. I'd definitely recommend this set! 5
