Taste rancidGot the no added sugar flavor. I had high hope for this product. However the quality turned out to be questionable. It has a rancid after taste which regular brands don't have (quaker, bob's, etc). It also has bits of nut shells in it : (For a lower price you'll have much better luck with Purely eliz super food oat cups apple and cinnamon flavor - taste great and only 3 grams of sugar per cup.1So good!The best oatmeal. So easy for a busy mom, especially who is breastfeeding. I use my electric kettle to heat up the water and by the time I m ready to head out the door, it s cool enough to eat. The flavors are delicious and the ingredients are awesome. This is my third order of these.5Horrid. Tasteless. Minimal fruit. Blechhh.Tasteless, horrible cardboard. Hardly any fruit, weird seeds thrown in, the oatmeal is amongst the worst I have ever eaten. I eat the Umpqua Organic Oatmeal and it s delicious. Would I prefer to be eating a side of marble pound cake or a strawberry scone with my tea for breakfast? Yes. This, on the other hand is taking it way too far in the other direction. I m trying, but put SOMETHING in there that tastes good. Fruit helps. How about some cinnamon? That would help. I would lose a lot of weight if this is all I had to eat. I don t know what else to say to describe virtually nothing. Water is tasteless, too, but at least it s refreshing. Okay, here goes: if you can get through it, it s filling and it keeps you filled for hours.153grams of total carbs. Its basically a soda.I was fooled by the 'woke & healthy' packaging assuming these would be a good fit for my healthy lifestyle.Healthy stuff is usually pretty simple no added non sense but these have quite a lot of ingredients one being cane sugar.I can only speak for the goji berry one so far but it was basically oats, like 3 seeds and what taste like 5 table spoons of sugar.Im not kidding there must be a lot because total carbs add up to 53g which is about the same as soda!The only reason I did not give this product a one star is because it taste ok but I feel misled by its marketing and packaging. Why go through all the trouble of trying to look like such a healthy brand and product if you are just going to add massive amounts of cane sugar. If I want more sugar I can add it myself.2Modern Oats 5 Berry Oatmeal is very TastyI bought these to take on a 3 week road trip so I could have a nice healthy breakfast every morning, and well it turns out I stayed in nice hotels that actually offered hot breakfast, so I only had the oatmeal on 3 days, but I did eat 2 prior to leaving for my trip. The oatmeal is very tasty, I like the berry selection, and I also like that you can eat your oatmeal right out of the cup. I have only had the 5 berry flavor, so I can't comment on other other flavors, but this one does not disappoint. A tad expensive, but well worth it because there are no unnecessary ingredients.5This product is mislabeled -- it is the sugar-free version.I was surprised to taste that this is a No Sugar Added version of this product -- healthier of course, but it tastes disgusting. I thought I was re-ordering this one, which is the normal 5 Berry... Modern Oats 5 Berry Oatmeal, 2.3 Ounce (Pack of 12). I am a little confused, as I can not find any evidence that the sugar free version even exists on the Modern Oats website.To add insult to injury, this product is 1.94 oz per package, the other is 2.3 oz for the same price. On the other hand, it tastes so bad, maybe the smaller size is a bonus?There is nothing wrong with selling sugar free, but the product title really needs to say so. The only place it is appears on the listing is in the product photo.1BUGS BUGS BUGS!!!!This is what I found in 2 out of the 6 containers of Modern Oats! Its bugs that seem to multiply!!! I am furious! Please shake your containers before eating. Mind you I just received this shipment. My husband and I eat these often and have bought them several times and we will buy them again. They do not contain any sugar and are not made with genetically modified oats. YOU are in control of the amount of sugar or other fruits, nuts, etc., that you add to this delicious oatmeal! Check it out!5Decent, but a bit too nuttyI got the variety pack to try, but there are so many nuts in EVERY flavor (e.g. blueberry was like eating a handful of various nuts with some oatmeal tossed in). Texture is a little gummy too. Overall, these are okay.I prefer Straw Propeller brand, but these were a little less expensive. I will pay more from now on.3DeliciousI purchased a cup of Modern Oats at a cafe in the lobby of a hotel I was staying at and fell in love. I couldn t find it at Whole Foods near me but luckily I found them on Amazon. The variety pack is good. I have my favorites but they all taste good. You can add a little more water or less depending on the consistency you like for your oatmeal. You can even add a couple extra ingredients to the actual cup and bake up TWO OATMEAL COOKIES!!!5
