Delicious GranolaMy husband and I LOVE this granola. We were drawn to it because we live and have a business in Maryland. We learned that Michelle's Granola is made from scratch in Maryland using Maryland produced Maple Syrup so we decided to give it a try. We have tried the original, cinnamon, and pumpkin and they are all delicious!!The freshest tasting and just the right crunch granola we have ever had ..... I have always intended to make my own granola but never seem to get around to it. Now I don't have to. Amazon is a great way to purchase Michelle's. Thanks Michelle for pouring your time and resources into making a quality food!!! Keep up the good work!!5Yes, it has sugar ... BUTOk, so ... if you want the healthiest granola, you should just mix whole grain oats with walnuts. But I like oat "clusters" for a crunchy addition to my organic greek yogart/organic mixed berries breakfast. If I want "oat clusters" then I know something is going to be used to "keep" the oats together. In this case, it's "organic brown sugar" and "expeller-pressed non GMO canola oil". If you don't want to consume those 2 things, then this (or any) granola is not right for you. That being said, if you DO like granola ... and want one that is made with organic rolled oats and wholesome organic products, then look no further! This stuff is made well and tastes DELICIOUS!It's also EXTREMELY FRESH ... I've never tasted a granola that tastes so freshly made!! Even the bags are cool ... more "paper bag" than plastic. Definitely a "well thought out" company!!Their recipes have everything from organic coconut, to organic walnuts/pecans to organic sunflower/pumpkin seeds. I can't wait to try them all! I've already finished a bag of their "Cinnamon Raisin" (yum!!) and am halfway through their "Original" ... both are delicious . That is where it's made and it's not available in Portland, OR. yet although maybe soon at Whole Foods. Through Amazon, it arrives fresh and uncrushed. A 3 bag supply usually comes with a generous 6 month shelf life. If you like granola with a crunchy easy to chew texture, a healthy combo of oats, nuts, and seeds, and a not too sweet taste, this is the granola to choose. I'd like to see shredded coconut added to it for the nutritional benefit, but don't know how that would taste. And I wish they could get their sugar content down to zero. Meanwhile, I enjoy Michele's pumpkin granola with almond milk and add nuts and blueberries each morning. It also gives yogurt and ice cream a boost.....if you're not lactose intolerant. Please keep offering this item as an Amazon staple and consider making it available at a lower price when purchased singly to retain its freshness.5Yum, yum, yum.Yum, yum, yum. I love this granola and I'm thrilled to find it's available online. I originally purchased it when I lived in the Baltimore/Washington area. Since I moved I would purchase some when I visited the area and I would have to mark each bag so the house sitter wouldn't eat it thinking it was easily replaced. I've been known to use it as a topping for fruit crisps: delicious! my only wish is for a bar-so I could take some 'to go' for a snack...5So Fresh and Tasty you'll never go backMichele's Granola is the Best Granola I've ever had in my life. I started on the Cranberry Pecan (seasonal flavor), which I first tasted at a local Farmer's Market. I was so bummed out when I could no longer get that flavor in the Spring and tried the Cherry Chocolate. WOW! What a treat!! I've since ventured into the Spring seasonal flavor of Lemon Pistachio. (Sounds like a odd mixture, right?) Oh my goodness! I've found myself stocking up on Lemon Pistachio before the season changes again. I've also purchased the Muesli and Original flavor. I will never buy another brand of Granola.5One cup of this granola has FIVE teaspoons of sugar added to itI wish I had read the label more carefully and calculated how much sugar is added to this granola. If I had, I would never have bought it. I wouldn't put ONE teaspoon of sugar into a cup of anything, much less FIVE teaspoons is one cup of granola. This puts it on a par with the rubbish sold by Kellogs and Post at the supermarket. I literally threw it into the garbage and that hurts since it costs $10 per pound. Sadder but wiser about this sugary JUNK FOOD.1Too Much Sugar Per ServingIt is like tasty crumbles of cookies. The problem is: it is like cookies. It tastes great, absolutely a pleasant indulgence. But I eat more than a 1/4 cup of cereal. So if you pour some granola in your bowl most likely it is gonna be maybe 2 or even 3 times the serving size. Then the sugar content and fat content starts looking less reasonable.As an occasional, sweet treat is it great.3
