Lovely necklace, just what I wanted.When I decided to buy a diffuser necklace, I wanted one with some quality to it, and this fits the bill perfectly. It is about the size of a quarter, and about 3 times as thick as a quarter. The pendant feels nice, with a bit of weight to it, and the chain is attractive, unlike some of the other necklaces I looked at. The oils do not affect the inside of the locket in a negative way, and the smell wafts nicely from the pendant. The locket itself opens only partway, as shown in one of the photos; just enough to place in a disk and put oil on it. Forcing it to open further may break the locket. As a plus size woman, the 24 inch chain length puts the pendant just below my clavicle, which is a nice length for the kinds of clothing I wear.The locket, disks and essential oil come in a box suitable for gifting. Inside the box, the locket and chain are in a tiny ziplock bag, which I later used to store the extra disks. The essential oil included with it is called "Inner Peace" and is a mix of Orange, Clove bud, Geranium, Lavender and Patchouli. I found it rather overwhelming and unpleasant at first, but it grew on me over time and as it evaporated some. Still, I am likely to experiment with other scents to choose which I like best. The disks (5 included) are washable, and about 5/8 " diameter.I would highly recommend this difuser necklace as a quality piece of costume jewelery.----------Edit: I ended up giving this to my mother for her 90th birthday. Not only does she love it and wear it almost daily, but her friends, especially some young neighbor girls and youngsters at church, stop her to smell what scent she has any given day. It's a hit!5Magnets make me sad So, I am going to review several different things! I LOVE the oil blend included with this. It is lovely and I get comments on it all the time. It also shipped in a timely fashion. That being said, I am VERY disappointed in my necklace. I have had it for less than 90 days and two of the magnetic closures have broken, which causes it to remain open and get stuck at times. I also bought another necklace in the mean time, make sure I take it off daily, and generally take good care of it. I just wish that it lasted a little bit longer.2Great giftPurchased 4 as Christmas gifts. My aunt loves it! She caught a cold after the holidays and used peppermint. She said it helped her very much. I would have given it a full 5 stars but the products did not come with the extra pads. My aunt had to order new ones for different essential oils, but they did not fit. After a few adjustments, though, we made it work. My intent was for that calm effect essential oils can give; I did not even think it could help when you have the cold. It is a very pretty piece and comes with 6 white diffuser pads. The Inner Peace Essential Oil blend is very nice, although it does not list the Latin names or state the source of oils for the blend. The disappointing part of this gift set is the chain. The chain looks bulky and cheap. Although the chain is rather thick and large, the claw of the clasp is so thick that it barely goes through the chain, and it is a fight to clasp the necklace each time. I will have to purchase a new chain because this one is not satisfactory. Overall, however, I love the diffuser locket and am happy with the purchase. I would not recommend this set as a gift due to the issue with the chain.4Great product.I purchased this necklace as a gift for a friend. She loves essential oils and thought this gift would brighten her day. I love the design of the pendent, however, the chain is not as feminine. I also did not realize the size of the pads that came with it and ordered an extra set of standard size refill pads, these are much smaller! So when you purchase, be sure to do some research to find smaller pads to fit. The Lavender scent is calming on hectic workdays and during unpleasant occasions. Although the SS design of the locket is beautiful, I wear it hidden yet the aroma is still palpable through the material of my clothing. I wish that the fragrance would last all day and I find myself needing to refresh it from time to time. I have a variety of other oils that I use at different times which lasts the whole day. I found that I can use polyester non-woven felt in different colors as replacement pads. I simply cut it to size. It may seem small at first, but it is still perfectly effective in holding your favorite essential oil sense.
