An alternative to LiptonI usually use decaf Lipton for my iced tea (it's typically on sale at Safeway), but Luzianne has a slightly better taste for my palate. I'm still evaluating various iced tea blends, but Luzianne is my current favorite.5The Only Tea for Real Sweet TeaI'm a Southern boy living in Maine. They can't make sweet tea here to save their lives, so I have to use the only good tea for real sweet tea: Luzianne. Since it's not available in this "wasteland", I have to get it from Amazon. For the best tea, even decaffeinated, use Luzianne. It saves my life up here in Yankeeland. I drink iced tea all year round and rely on Luzianne for a true southern sweet tea flavor.5Green tea with taste! Green tea is so good for you and I'm not big on water all day long. This tea is the answer! I use ginger tea as it is good for the digestive system, but you could add a bag of any flavor, some lemon or lime. Both the Luzianne and Stash Teas are also Gluten Free as is the Agave. I find buying buy the case on Amazon is less expensive also.5Getting hard to find this stuffIt seems like every time I find a really good product, the manufacturer stops making it. (The garbage products keep getting made year after year). This product is no longer available at any of the stores around me.Luzianne makes great green tea. It is, of course, not as strong as black tea. The taste is smooth. The caffeine level is not too bad. I like making sun tea with the larger bags. 4 bags to the gallon and 4 hours of sunshine makes fantastic tea. If you want it stronger just squeeze excess liquids from the bags when removing.I just hope Amazon keeps selling this stuff in bulk. The price ($25/case) is very good. This is the only food product I have ever bought online.5Rather dramatic price increase, to say the least!I purchased this same product from Amazon on November 12, 2013 for $26.04. I checked back today and saw that the price had increased by 50% in just over two months. ($39.04) NOTHING goes up in value that much in that period of time. They have a good, clean tea taste and the larger size makes it easy to make the tea strong without making it bitter. 96 bags goes a long way, which is good when you like iced tea for lunch, snacks, and dinner. If you want to try something sweet & dry, add a couple bags of Celestial Seasonings Zinger, cherry, or berry tisanes and a squirt of agave nectar - yummy. Also, try adding a teabag when boiling pasta or rice to give it a nice earthy background flavor.5Can't get Luzianne Iced Tea bagsMy family loves Luzianne Decaff Iced Tea Bags. What can I do to be able to get these tea bags from Amazon????1Tea, tea, and more tea....I have just recently started to drink green tea. I think I like the more subtle taste as opposed to the typical black teas (as brewed for iced tea..). When I could not find a good selection of green tea at the local market, I turned to Amazon....and that led me here. I am familiar with Luzianne teas because I use them frequently, exclusively for iced tea. When brewing hot tea, I turn to a more typical black tea or breakfast tea.Until I found this selection, I was not aware that you could purchase green tea from Luzianne. It was not available to me locally, so I am glad that I found it. Green tea is a kinder, gentler form of tea. This one is smooth and retains a lot of tea flavor without the harshness or tannins associated with stronger teas. It makes a very nice pitcher of iced tea and seems to store well in the refrigerator (for 2 or 3 days..) without picking up off-tastes like so many teas do.One other thing of interest (at least to me..!!) is the ability of this green tea to co-habitate peacefully with other flavors, especially berry flavors. I like to mix a little fruit juice into my iced tea....typically cranberry or pomegranate, although blackberry works well too. The resulting mix is great. Definitely still a tea, but with a refreshing scent and flavor.If you like green tea, or are thinking about trying some, this Luzianne tea is pretty good! Is it better than all others on the market?? I don't know. Probably not, although it is certainly plenty good enough and a reasonable price as well......One other thing..This is a LOT of tea!!!!! If you only drink a single glass each day, this is probably too much tea for you. I suspect it will get old and musty before you would be able to use it up. But, if you brew it by the gallon, as I do, this amount will be usable. Try it, you'll like it!!UPDATE: Just a quick note here...I really like citrus flavors so I decided to add some lemon and lime to my green tea....Got the idea from pre-bottled stuff currently available at the grocery. Works great! Don't use too much, and you will need to monitor sweetness to counteract the acid...also, when using additives like fruit juices or citrus they will definitely affect the clearness of the tea...makes it just a little foggy or something. Might be worth trying to filter the juice (through a coffee filter..maybe...??). I will try it and let you know! One other thing..try adding a few mint leaves to your concoction (really amazing with the berry mixes..!!).4Great tasting decaffeinated teaI was not able to find the quart size bags when I went to local stores. I cannot drink caffein in the evening, but love hot and iced tea at night. I love the flavor of this tea and thought the price was reasonable compared to supermarket price. I am very happy I can get this so easily and quickly on Amazom.5
