I can enjoy coffee with no pain!First coffee I have tried that did not give me GI pain. It is a darker roast than I would have liked, but the good news is that there is no strange decaf flavor. I drink it with some half and half because it is a little too robust for my taste, but I am grateful to have this option for those times when I really crave coffee.4Wow---what a great flavorI have been buying another low acid coffee and thought I would give this a try when the price of the other almost doubled. Glad I did...it has one of the best coffee tastes I have ever had. I do not like the strong "french roast/Starbucks type flavors and found this to be a perfect flavor for my old taste buds. I mistakenly bought the whole beans but I had a coffee grinder so ground it and was very surprised. I assume the pre-ground will also have the great taste. Been drinking it for a week now and no acid problems at all. If that changes I will update this post.5Truly LOW acid.Brewed with a French press, regular store-bought water. The pH is a solid 5.5. For those who want to enjoy coffee with lots of flavor without high acid, give this a go.5You Wont Be DisappointedFor the last year I've suffered from gastro esophageal reflux disease and recently I have been diagnosed with a stomach ulcer also. Drinking regular coffee would often aggravate my stomach issues and sometimes due to the high acid it would give me flare ups of acid reflux. I'm a person who loves my coffee and it was really hard in the mornings when I was unable to drink coffee. But then I stumbled across this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. I was some what apprehensive to purchase it being that it was some specialized coffee and I just thought there's no way that this is going to taste remotely close to what I enjoy drinking in the mornings. But I was completely wrong. If your one of those people who enjoys the coffee shop style coffees from your Keurig this is definitely the closest in flavor that I have found. Actually I almost think it might taste better. Since drinking this coffee my stomach has been more settled and I absolutely feel like I have sacrificed nothing. This brews great in my Keurig.5and I have no problem paying good money for good beansI'm a coffee snob, and I have no problem paying good money for good beans. I've tried a lot of different coffees- caf and decaf- and I am impressed with the flavor of this decaf. Very mellow, good flavor, and lower in acid. I tested it with a PH strip and yep, it was a lot lower than my regular gourmet brand. Got tummy problems? Switch to this.5One Stari am an Intelligensia fan but was hoping to find a similar but organic coffee. I brew with a press and followed my usual protocol. I mixed half Lucy's decaf with the caffeinated and brewed it normally for 4-5 minutes. The taste was awkward and harsh on the end unlike most Sumatran which is bold and round on the finish. I truly did not like the flavor, nor the aroma of either the decaf or caf. A big miss for me!2Pretty good...better than others that I've tried..stinks when brewedThis stuff tastes pretty good. It's better than the other brands I've bought here on amazon. It is truly decaf which is most important to me. This doesn't upset my stomach or give me jitters. I got the low acid because I have severe gerd but I feel no difference in drinking this stuff. It doesn't make it worse or help it compared to reg coffee. This also smells horrible whilst its brewing. It's smells weird like dog poop or skunk(no that bad but something like it). My husband got up and asked what was that awful smell was and if one of our dogs messed in the house. I told him I was making coffee. I've had other people over saying that it smells rank when I'm making the coffee. I don't know what it is. The low acid? The decaf process? or the coffee beans? I've never had coffee smell like this. It does taste ok (not the best but not the worst) but doesn't have that wonderful coffee aroma. This is the second time I've purchased. I might buy again but maybe just the decaf with no low acid if they have that.4Nice and EasyOrdered the decaf medium roast. It has a nice light flavor. The description characterizes it as creamy and sweet but I'm not getting that very much from this particular blend. But it's a nice smooth flavor - not detecting an acidic flavor to it. Nice to sip a tasty coffee in the late afternoon without getting the jitters in the evening!5Decent Cup of CoffeeI recently started looking at expanding my options due to gastritis. I am still not sold on low acid coffee, just the fact the beans are a higher quality. Coffee is generally around 5-6Ph, more acidic blends could be below 5 but really its the flavor profile of the bean. As others have mentioned this one is at about 5.5Ph which is fine, the other reason for the purchase was for a good tasting decaf coffee. I believe most of us plagued with stomach issues know its more about caffeine. Since amazon does a terrible job at providing comments that clearly identify which item its speaking about, I purchased the mellow belly ground coffee. I did not notice anything creamy about this coffee, but it is smooth and not too bitter. For me I don't love the after taste, but for most it should be acceptable. I brewed this with a Ninja coffee bar machine on classic, how you brew is going to really change the opinions here. The body was middle of the road, it was more of a medium roast, taste was not unique but good, overall I would buy again. No comment on impact regarding stomach, other than this has not created any new issues or intensified my existing condition (from what I can tell so far).4
