Not FishyI have tried to take various fish oils over the years and have not liked any of them because they smell and taste like fish and I do not like fish! These from SR have absolutely no fish taste or burps. I do hold my nose, so not sure if there is any smell;) Larger than the other SR products that I take, but still ok to swallow.. I know this supplement is good for me to take, so I am glad that I was able to fine one that I am able to take without any of the usual issues.5Rancid smell + caused diarrheaLet me start by saying that I really wanted to like these fish oils. However they smelled really bad on arrival. Both me and my girlfriend and I had gas issues and unpleasant bowel movement immediately after taking these. My guess is they had gone rancid. I do not recommend them.1The smellThe smell is awful! For other reviewers that said there was no smell well the one's I received smell like fish. Haven't been taking for very long so hopefully if/when I sweat the odor of fish doesn't come through my pores. Other than that shipping was fast3Sports Research has given me renewed belief in the advantages of natural supplements.Since starting Sports Research Keto Omega Fish Oil, I feel I have found a far better source for a fish oil supplement. Though I've been taking various brands for quite a number of years, I really like the fact that it is distilled from Alaskan Wild Sockeye Salmon as this salmon is 11 times lower in mercury that other wild salmon - in fact, it's the only salmon I'll eat, and I eat it quite often. The Antarctic Krill is something I've been wanting to add to my short list of effective supplements for a long time.5So far so goodMy doctor recommended this the smell is strong so you know what you got is potent and easy to swallow unfortunately you have to take a lot of them just taking one or two a day isn't going to cut it you have to take as directed but I feel like this is quality and I feel like I will benefit from this if there's any negative aspects I will come back and edit this review5These Pills SmellI'm sure these pills are good but boy-o-boy...the bottle I got smelled like a jar of salmon eggs!! No after taste but I can't buy these again.In hindsight I should have returned them. I DID email SR and asked about the smell and didn't get an answer????1Rancid or contaminated!I received this product but never took it. I am pretty sure it is either contaminated or rancid. There is a small dark spot seemingly floating inside the capsules. Not knowing what it was I was not putting that in my body.1I am a Fan !There are so many brands to choose from, and I have ! This Brand beats them all ! O5Hives all over my bodyI really wanted to like this product, but I broke out in terrible hives from this product. Benadryl did not help me either. I do not know what this product has in it, but this has never happened to me taking other fish oil brands.1Solid qualitySR makes an exceptional product and the keto omega is another home run. While it has a slight fish smell in the bottle, that smell is barely detectable and it doesn't have a fishy that can be typical with other fish oil omegas. Also, the bonus for me is it includes MCT oil; which is key for my ketogenic diet. This product has become a stable in my diet and I plan to continue to take it along with some of their other suppliments (MCT oil and Collagen) . I tend to buy a fair amount from Sports Research for a reason, they make the highest quality supplements I have tried. I don't review a lot but after my first bottle of their Keto Omega I was hooked and had to review. Well done!5
