Side effectsI had high hopes for this product. The ingredients are excellent and everything I needed in one capsule. Unfortunately I'm one of the people who had bad side effects, Gatric distrubances (Calcium) and the worst cystic acne from the collagen in this product, which can occur when taking collagen internally. If you are fortunate enough to not have any reactions that's great, I wish I was one. I could have dealt with the gastro problems but not the cystic acne. I wanted to let others know the possibilities, if only I would have known. 1HIGHLY recommend for everyoneThese have saved my teeth! MCHA is, in my opinion, the highest quality calcium available. It has been shown to increase bone density. And whatever builds the bones builds the teeth. I wish it would have occurred to me to take a calcium supplement in addition to my prenatal vitamins when I was pregnant. However, I am taking them now and have noticed an improvement in my teeth. They are stronger and not sensitive anymore. Also very important -- they contain vitamin K and D which makes sure that your body get the calcium into your bones where it needs to be. This formula also contains a well-balanced combination of other minerals essential to bone health. HIGHLY recommend for everyone. 5Major change after taking thisAfter breastfeeding an always-hungry baby for 12 months, my body was falling apart... I was visiting the chiropractor every week, trying to eat healthy, etc., but I had near-constant pain in my back, knees, and other joints. My mom suggested I find a calcium supplement and so, naturally, I tried to research the "best" and came across this. THREE DAYS after starting this, almost all the pain was GONE! I am now pregnant again, and my midwives say I am the only woman in their practice with adequate vitamin D levels, which I credit entirely to this, since my prenatal vitamins are the exact same as I used with the last pregnancy, and my vitamin D was always super low. In short, this is the BEST, and I recommend it to everyone who's having bone problems! 5It was so bad that even few steps used to hurtI have been dealing with knee pain over a year. It was so bad that even few steps used to hurt. I bought this item about 6 months ago with another joint supplement and used them together about 2 months. At the same time I started doing HIIT training and still doing them. No more pain.I feel great. I bought 3 more and send it to my mom and dad to help them with their joint pain recently. I hope it works for them too. 5Easy to SwallowI love that the capsules are easy to swallow. I have a horrible time swallowing large pills, but the capsule makes it easy and I can take 2 at a time. I am a weight loss surgery patient and I am unable to use calcium citrate, so my doctor recommended this type of calcium. Since I switched to Jarrow Bone-up 3/day, I have no issues with constipation like I did with citrate. 5Yes... Quality product!I appreciate the Jarrow Bone-Up supplements good quality ingredients. I started, about 7 months ago, taking the 6-pills per day version, then found this 3/day version about 1 month ago. I'm happy to only need to take 3/day now. Seems to be helping me! The capsules are larger, but that does not bother me at all. I recommend taking it with food, as they say to do. I did try taking it without food once - won't make that mistake again, I was very uncomfortable afterwards. 5So happy this supplement has agreed with me, due to having Chemical Sensitivity. Truly a blessing.Found out I have severe Osteoporosis in both hips and lower back. I was told by Doctor's to go on Medicine. I found this product by talking to someone knowledgeable about it. I gave it a shot, because I refuse to take something that can cause irreversible damage. I've been taking this product just shy of 4 months, 3 x day a with meals. With this product and strengthening, It's made me feel absolutely wonderful. I have a hard time with many supplements due to Chemical Sensitivity. I thank my lucky Stars this has truly agreed with me. 5A Great Option for Calcium & D3 IntakeIf you need a supplement for calcium and D3, I would absolutely suggest the Jarrow line of Bone Up products. You will gnat to decide for yourself which variety. This one is "3 a day", others can be taken as 6 a day, and it can be a bit much as these are not small capsules.The main issue is your body can assimilate only so much calcium at a time, so you have to spread these out. With this variety that comes down to 3 times a day. if you take the others that give you a dose in 6 capsules, you can do 3 and then 3, as opposed to 2/2/2. It really comes down to your schedule, and how you want to consume these.As far as performance, there is no magic bullet for bone deficiencies, however, I feel this supplement is beneficial, and does;'t have the same risks as many prescription solutions, which only add a build-up onto your bones. That is my personal opinion, no medical background or training, etc.As far as the product quality, I am a big Jarrow formulas fan, and find their stuff to be very high quality and never with any junk ingredients. 5Great Post-Op Bone growing fastTake this stuff. It is a miracle. I had a second neck surgery at 45 C-3 on June 13th. Was a vegan for a long time and former smoker. First fusion from C-4 to C-7 took years to recover then I started taking Bone-up to get ready for top level to be replaced and the doctor said it takes 6-12 months for bone to grow. Went for follow-up today and c-3 already has bone growing. The Stimucell in Bone-Up can not be compared. I was in bed for years. Take a directed. 3 times a day. I took more 2X4, plus extra collagen in coffeeI dont do dairy but I am convinced this product has huge impact on fast recovery. 51 week and some of my leg aches disappearedHave some bone density loss, but unable to take the RX or afford the $800.00 shots, and having previously purchased the Jarrow brand of supplements, I decided to give this a try. It has been easy on my stomach and was very pleased that within a week of taking it, my leg aches disappeared. It will be two years before I will have another bone density test, but I am hopeful that this Bone-Up will be beneficial. 5
