Quality Protein, Tastes Terrible, Packaging could be betterI understand that zero carb is not going to taste as good as traditional. I expected it to be quite bland, but I did not expect the foul aftertaste. If you use a blender bottle, you better chug fast! I recommend blending it into a smoothie to mask the flavor. It comes in a thin sealed bag, inside of the bucket shown; this is great for transport, not so great for scooping individual servings. The lid fits tightly, and I mean TIGHTLY. I like that it keeps the moisture out, but it makes it difficult (and sometimes messy) to get at the protein. You have to tear it off with the might of Zeus, and when you do, it creates a mushroom cloud of protein that leaves "fallout" all over the room. Negatives aside... If you don't care about flavor, this is a quality protein. It will fit into any diet. 2Value above allThe price per pound of Isolated protein can't be beat. Flavorless its pretty good, I like to mix 1 scoop (1/2 serving) with roughly 10oz of water. After shaking there are no/few noticeable clumps. The product loses one star because the tub is excessively large, the protein comes in a bag inside the tub there is a large amount of empty space. Still for a single user this is an absence amount of protein powder and has lasted me 9 months (and counting) I only use half the serving size (25g of protein). In my opinion a 50g serving is ridiculous. 4Highly RecommendedI've been using this product for almost a year now as part of my complete lifestyle change. I have the 7.5lb container on pantry auto order every two months, and this synchs well with the usage. I had ONs Gold Standard Strawberry Banana for my last tub, but I wanted to branch out and this one out since it was recommended on reddit (the zero carb flavors). But I only take one scoop of this, so it's half the serving size per or 1gram of carbs. I take half of a scoop at lunch time and half after I workout.-I read a lot of reviews on bodybuilding.com and on amazon checking the rating of the taste and this was the best one.-It blends great, I use a shaker bottle with water and it's definitely not thick at all, so now I can probably use less water to make it a little thicker! Or add heavy whipping cream! (not for the post workout shake though)-No chunks, could probably just use a fork and swirl in a cup because it blends so easily!-I use it on the keto diet (no carb, only from fibrous veggies, <20g carbs a day. 5Not as good as MassI used Isopure Mass for more than a year and it made huge difference in my workouts. I would add some pure creatine monohydrate and a serving of collagen peptides and split the mix in two to ingest before and after workout. I used the same formula with the zero carb version and it makes me sleepy, which I assume is due fact that carbs used to give me instant energy and more energy is consumed in the beginning to breakdown the protein. It is either that or some unlisted ingredient that's giving me this terrible tired feeling. once done I am back on Mass. TIP: Get 7lbs Dutch Chocolate, which is the best taste and value out of all options. 4The ONLY Protein Powder You Will EVER NEEDListen, there are powders with better quality peanut protein, or better flavor, BUT ... as someone who has been through A LOT of good and garbage protein powders and has been lifting for 15 years, let me save you a lot of time and just tell you to stick with this (and not drive yourself crazy).This is the ONLY powder I have and use. No casein. No cheap whey with milk lactose byproducts. Isopure is just that. Pure 100% whey PROTEIN. Bioavailable, spikes up your insulin, gets mTOR to be expressed, gives you those building blocks for muscle repair and recovery, and that s it. That s all you can reasonably expect from a protein powder. It does its job perfectly.If you re keto, this is a tough powder to work with, not because it has any carbs (zero carbs), but it WILL shoot up your insulin as much as white bread will shoot up your insulin. Nevertheless, I still have two scoops (50g) right after my workout, with 8 tablespoons of heavy cream and two tablespoons of MCT oil. I m fasting after I have it (it s the last thing I ll eat), so, whatever fat the insulin transports will just be used while I m fasting.I can t have it plain. My wife has it with Aqua Panna or Fiji water (high pH water), and says she can tolerate it plain. I can t tolerate it plain. I need it creamy.There is a very very light and slight sandy/grainy-ness to it. That s fine. That s perfectly normal. It means the protein hasn t dissolved fully. I m inpatient, so I ll deal with the mild sandiness instead of waiting like 10mins for it to dissolve. But if it bothers you, just wait 10mins for it to dissolve. 5Counterfeit Protein Powder. Don't Buy.I ordered this a while ago and have been recently been reviewing other reviews on here to confirm my suspicion. I've been a fan of Isopure products and ordered them all the time. Dutch chocolate was my go to since I was on a ketogenic diet. I ordered a $90 tub of this stuff and immediately noticed that it tasted awful and nothing like the isopure low carb you get at GNC or Vitamin Shoppe. I searched online to see if Isopure had recently reformulated their product and found nothing. I don't know what kind of protien powder this is or even if its low carb but its definitely not the real deal... 1-It tastes great. -It blends easyYou can't beat this protein if you're looking to lose weight and get back into shape.-It has zero carbs, low protein, and low cholesterol.-It is also packed nutrients so it essentially functions as a multi-vitamin too.-It tastes great.-It blends easy.-It's competitive price-wise. 5love the bucket!I have ordered this bucket for a great price I think about three times now. If he asks for it again I might just subscribe for the extra five percent off. I take some as well I love Dutch chocolate flavored protein I feel that it is the best of all three flavors. You can take it with just water or almond milk, for a stricter diet and it has a great taste. The vitamins don't over power the flavor, the flavor actually over powers all the vitamin flavor. Comes with a bucket my mom or kids try to recycle. If you are wanting a good protein definitely recommend Dutch chocolate and this size is great if you tend to drink it consistently. 5
