Serves my purpose adequatelyI have an older dog that doesn't always tell me that she has to go out in the middle of the night. I use these pads to cover the floor in an approved spot in my home.These pads are thin, but I rarely have leak-through.I tried using puppy pads, but for some reason, the square leaked and I had to clean the floor after she uswd those pads. I had problems even when I overlapped the edges. I had hoped they would be more absorbent.I decided to order these underpads, and I was happy again.The best (affordably priced) pads that I used to have came from Sam's Club, until they changed suppliers and the quality suffered.These pads, that I bought from Amazon have been among the best I could find for the price. Nothing in this price range gets a 5 star. But I rate it 4 stars and a smiley4My wife and I have lots of Cats and believe ...My wife and I have lots of Cats and believe it or not some had a habit of marking the walls, We selectively placed these in the cat room Yes our cats have their own private sunroom and problem solved. Yes my wife also raises canaries and used these for the flooring in the bird cages. Who would have thought!!!!5Less than uselessI've been ordering these pads on Subscribe and Save but I intend to cancel as soon as I find an adequate replacement. These have almost no absorbency at all. They will leak through. Recently I have also been finding what appears to be squashed bugs (moths and some other small insect) in the paper fibers. I originally ordered these for puppy training my now adult 10# Havanese and my 3# miniature Maltese cross, so I'm not talking about giant flooding urine or stool.The only reason I don't cancel immediately is that they are cheap enough to use two at once. But I still have to be quick about picking them up when used.1Not as I had hoped, but good for a related purpose.I discovered the difference between super absorbent and regular chux after getting these. However, as it turns out they are good for picking up dog accidents. They are good as very large paper towels.Note: The chux are for my elderly dog who doesn't always tell us when she needs to go. I have been told that if you use the puddle pads intended for dogs that they are given a scent that will make them only want to use the pads, eschewing the outside lavatory all together. My dog does most of his business outside, but we keep a corner of the house well padded with "human piddle pads."4I think there's a problem with this batch.I have been buying these for quite a while, but this last delivery I've had a problem with. As you can tell from my pictures they seem to be cut or not put together right. I don't know if you have changed suppliers or what but these are not tge quality i have gotten in the past. Definitely not able to hold moisture. I hoped it was just 1 bag of 50 but these are from a different bag and still bad.1These were excellent!These Disposable Underpads by Inspire are just what I needed in my duties as a caregiver for a family member (who has since passed away). I am not getting around to writing the reviews of all the products I used in caring for him, and these underpads were real time-savers. I used the heavy cloth/cotton underpads, and these on top of those, and I would use these, overlapping them so that I could clean up the messes without soiling the cloth underpads or the bed linens.These are very absorbent, and they do just what they are supposed to do. They performed well under very severe conditions of loss of bowel control, and they were not very expensive, either. I went through a good many of these, and never once was there a failure.If you are caring for a loved one who has these issues, order these for him/her, and save yourself a lot of grief and frustration.5This last batch of product is defective.I wish Amazon had a way that you could contact the seller button to let them know what's going with their product. It would be helpful if the seller could be notified and then make good on the defective products and not lose continued sales. I have been buying this product for several years and have recommended it to many many people, friends and strangers alike. But this last batch that I got is not good at all. The glue sticks so hard that when you try to open them up it tears and the ones that don't tear when my dogs go potty on them it leaks through. I have never had any problems like this before, it's very sad and now I'm afraid to continue to order from this company.1No terrible for dogs, but should not be used for adult incontinence.I order these pads for my dogs every month. The dogs are PP pad trained. I have been using potty pads now for 2 years for them. For the most part, I can't complaint too much about the pads. The quality is fairly good most of the time. If I had a general complaint, it would be that when the dogs urinate, a normal amount, the urine spreads out onto the entire pad, instead of just staying in the spot, like other pads do. When it spread out, the dog is only able to use it once, where as others pads that I have purchased previously, the dog may go a couple times on the pad, without stepping in the urine spot. The last two boxes I have become a little more irritated when a number of the pads insides stick to each other when unfolding them, tear, and are no longer able to be used. Yes, I buy 300 at a time, but at $50.00/month, and the dog can only use the pad once, it adds up. They are the cheapest of any pads on Amazon, that I am aware of and that is why I have used them. If you are thinking about using them as chux pads for an incontinent adult.....DON'T. I would recommend you look at other, better quality pads.3Dispose these DisposablesI had this product on subscribe & save. In the beginning pads were thicker, had more fluffy absorbent filler, much like a diaper. Never had any leakage or problems. I use these for my puppies to go on, when out of the house. In the past 8 months getting an entirely different and inferior product. Way too thin. Leak and dogs cannot pee on them more than once or it goes right through. Stopped my subscription.1Large Size, Small Price Each, Great for Dogs!These pads are the best deal I've found - large size, so my dog usually only soils one at a time, at a small price. They are thick enough and absorbent enough for one-time use. Gotta get this off my chest - it is not reasonable to expect a dog to re-use a pad. Dogs can be housebroken because they are clean by instinct and don't want to soil their nest (your home). Successful housebreaking trains this instinct. Soiled pads should be removed as soon as possible so the dog is not forced to get used to being around its own waste. I keep a 4 x 6-foot area of one room covered with the pads so that my dog can go when she wants, and she has a bit of room to stroll and sniff; I then pick up only the pad or sometimes pads that she has soiled. Expecting a dog to "hit the spot" on just one pad is not reasonable. Because I pick up used pads promptly, I can walk through that part of the room on the clean pads, no problem. I have the pads in a corner of my home office. These larger pads are great, because it's easier to cover the area I allow my dog to use. Some breeds and some individual dogs are harder to train than others. I would take a new puppy from its crate to the potty area and keep it there until success, and repeat that. My dog prefers to go outside, and will ask to do that first when I am at home. This saves me money on pads, and reinforces her instinct for cleanliness. Not all dogs can be expected to learn this, and many pet owners do not have an outdoor option.5Ok but not for me! The underpads are paper thin and not worth spending money on. They will do the job one time but if an accident occurs I don't think it will be able to absorb it all and it will get all over and soak the bed. I will not be ordering this item again, I was very disappointed. I wish they would've had a rating scale of the absorption level (I have that on others I've tried) then I could've compared before purchasing. I was hoping these would work because I love having them shipped to the door it saves me valuable time. I'll use them because they will help with the changing but I definitely need something much thicker! 3
