I have long wanted to purchase HP sauce and other great UK products, but they were prohibitively expensive here, and very difficult to locate. This sauce not only tastes great, but it is priced very well on Amazon for an imported product. This sauce is similar to a combination of Heinz 57 sauce and A-1 sauce, and I find it delicious on battered fish! It's a Great tasting sauce that I can now regularly keep on hand!5A classicUse HP on my breakfast every weekend and on numerous sandwiches throughout the week. It's an indispensable staple in our house. From an environmental perspective I'd love to get rid of the plastic, but the squeezy bottles are just so much easier to work with than the glass ones. This is much better value than most American stores selling the hp sauce In my area at least5It's shipped from EnglandBut still a reasonable price for a great tasting sauce. I got the two bottle shipment. If you are an American, HP has a similar taste to A1 sauce on meat. But it's thicker and richer. If you taste it straight from the bottle, there are multiple aftertastes. I'm not a taster, but there's more going on than with A1. You deserve to try it and try to explain in your mind why it's so good. On a steak, I wasn't able to stop putting on more.5Very TangyThis is like a very tangy ketchup. An Irish friend recommended it and says he eats it on everything. It might be interesting in meatloaf instead of regular ketchup. I can really only handle it on fries.4Nice smooth taste!I prefer this over A1 sauce any day. I use it for clams, fish, steak, sometimes even French fries. It has a nice smooth flavor to it, unlike A1 that has a bit of a sharp tang to it. Highly suggest trying it, the Brits do know their food.5The one and only!HP Sauce is one of the best condiments available! It's from the UK and can be used in many dishes and as a dipping sauce, steak sauce or on an egg sandwich...wonderful! Glad it's in a squeeze bottle, much easier to dispense.
