Great box, button is too long/sensitive to carry in my pocketI used to carry an old tic tac box for pills, but I thought it was time to upgrade (after a few years the plastic lid finally died) so I got this one. Fit and finish are good. A nice polished box. Inside of the lid is high polish. It's separated into three sections inside. Can hold 2-4 pills in each section depending on the size. My only complaint was that the thing would open in my pocket and dump its contents sometimes. The button is too long and is easily depressed. Lucky it's solid metal, so a couple minutes with the Dremel sander and I cut the button down to about 1/3 of it original length. Know it works great and only opens on purpose.4Perfect pocket case for those who needs to keep meds on them!Got this for my husband who is often in situations where he doesn't have his pills when he needs to take them. He fills this up, keeps it with his wallet, and puts it in his pocket every day. I no longer hear him having complaints about symptoms from forgetting a medication. He loves it and still mentions how happy he is he has it.5Cute - reliable container.My pill container finally broke - I had bought this at CVS or Rite Aid in Antioch, ca. It held up pretty good- 2-3years....I went ahead and bought this online for convenience (couldn't find any pill containers like my old one in the local stores around the area). Viewing online - this one Looked similar to the one I had...It finally arrived and I confirm that it indeed is similar. Looks good...and it works just fine....and it's been holding up just fine so far....it's now been about a month.5Brilliant little boxBest pillbox I've ever owned. I actually purchased this to carry some pills wherever I go. I used to use a cheap plastic case.The quality of this case is phenomenal, and it comes with a 3 sections divided by plastic on the inside. The case snaps open with a click of the button along the side. I was concerned the case might open accidentally, but the lock mechanism is very secure and has never opened unintentionally even once. And I basically just throw it in my pocket.The material is very high quality and the colored section of the product is protected by a layer of enamel so the paint won't rub off easily.I'm definitely using this for a long time. Love this little pillbox. Oh yeah and it's so classy that it looks like I'm taking expensive candy from it instead of a pill if that matters!5Not bad but the cheapness is apparent.Shell is made of thin stainless steel or plated aluminum sheet, will hold up to drops, pockets, bags, but will likely scuff over time.I took out the tray, I hate that it takes away from the capacity. Additionally the tray is poorly affixed to the bottom with double sided tape, so obviously more effort couldve been put into overall design to allow for interchangeable trays; I only needed this for 1 type of pill, and since the separator tray is bulky and poorly adhered, it made more sense to take it out.The issue I face after taking it out is the basic locking mechanism. If you drop this, your pills will fly EVERYWHERE, it basically is a pressure lock, using 2 metal prongs looped around the interior as a basic spring. So beware of that, possibly affix your own chain? :)The other minor annoyance I face now is pills becoming trapped between the outer shell and the spring, as the spring is not perfectly form-fit. It doesn't damage my pills, but could get annoying when I get down to the last couple pills and I gotta dig them out of the mechanism; again, this is why either 1. Better spring and lock design would've been preferred, OR, 2. A deeper tray WITH insertable separators.So I'm dropping you down to 4 for the inherent design flaws that are so obvious to the end-user that there's no way the manufacturer couldn't have considered these design changes by now.4Very PleasedPrior to getting this pill box I was using an empty mint bin to house my vitamins. I am very pleased with this item because it is well made, attractive, and safe for housing vitamins/pills. There are several color options available, and the inside feature has 3 divided slots to place contents. I adore this item so much because it is compact and can fit easily in a small handbag or pocket without being too bulgey. The most important feature as far as I'm concerned, is the snap feature which, ensures that the top is securely fastened once the top is closed.5Great Pill Box for Day OutThis GoPillable pill box is great for carrying a day's supply of medication. As a diabetic, I need to take pills before and after meals. When I'm going out for the day (or night), I load this pill box up with the necessary pills and it will cover lunch and dinner. I need two pills before and at least 3 after meals. This holds my 4 before and 6 after pills easy. It won't hold more but it does provide what I need for a day. It works great for me. And the black and silver color are manly enough to carry and pull out of pocket.5Revising my reviewAt first I loved it until it started popping open in my purse when something hit the push buttonGot tired of fishing around for all my pills on the bottom of a bucket purse. Same thing happened to the one I gave to my Mom.Other problem is if you have swollen joints from arthritis you can t get your fingers into the little compartments to get the pill you want. I end up having to dump all the pills out to get the one I need because I can t get it out of the compartment any other way2I like to carry a tiny clutch purse and trying to ...I like to carry a tiny clutch purse and trying to find a pill box with a slim enough profile to fit nicely has been a struggle. This one fits the bill!Not only does it perfectly fit in my tiny purse, it's very well made and beautiful as well. It has three divided spaces inside and holds a surprisingly generous amount of pills. The clasp and hinges are well made and open easily, but I have zero concerns about it popping open on its own. Bonus points as it resembles a compact mirror so I don't feel awkward taking my pills out when I don't have any privacy.Overall this pill case has been a delight, and well worth the money. I would definitely recommend it, and would happily buy it again.5holds up to an accidental washingI've been using this every day for maybe a year. I keep it in my pocket -- so it gets banged around. It's been great -- held up better than any other pill case I've used. And yesterday I (accidentally, inevitably) but it through the washer and drier. The pills all disappeared but the case came out shiny and clean -- no damage, no rust, no dust. Excellent quality!5
