Puts your body into proper postureI have degenerative discs in my lumbar spine that is made worse when my posture is bad. While I do need to train my body better, when I am in terrible pain, I can rely on this to help me correct my seated posture enough to mitigate the pain. Not great to have to depend on these, but definitely helpful to manage pain during flair ups when I can't stand to sit at my desk at work. 4Great fit and support. Comfortable when seated for a period of time.I had hurt my back. Took meds to eventually relieve the pain and "feel" back to normal. I ordered this for support to get back into the gym routine. Works well. It's not too thick, meaning you can wrap it under your shirt and it's not too noticeable. I usually wear a tank top so I wrap this around the tank top. If you just wrap it around your back you will get sweat on it. I also wore it when going out after my back pull which helped me while being seated at times like for being out for dinner. I'm 5'6, about 145 pounds just to help those out there for sizing purposes. I ordered the S/M. 5Finally the back support I've been looking for....................After returning many back lumbar supports I recently purchased, I finally hit it right with Futuro's Stabilizing Back Support. Have chronic lower back pain that every now and then will act up and realized it was time to get the support needed. Being dissatisfied with many I've tried that were either too bulky or heavy that could not be worn under clothing, decided to try Futuro. It is light weight, contoured to fit a woman's torso, made very well, gives just enough support and fully adjustable and most of all can be worn comfortably under clothing. With the recent heat wave I wore my back support hoping I wouldn't be hot or sweat; I didn't do either. I hardly knew I had it on. I was thrilled. The price was also very affordable compared to being much more in local stores. Highly recommend. 5Very comfotable, no sweat, better price than stores!I have a 34 waist with some extra.and I am 6'0 tall. And the large-xlg fits perfectly. Very comfortable, non irritating, and very breathable. Directly on my skin, a little scratchy, but edges of brace and lumbar cushion very nice. Had other brace and broke out in rash, probably had latex and was definitely not breathable. While waiting for this brace to be delivered, my back pain started coming back. And I noticed I'm sending and lifting differently. Goal is to stretch more and take care of my back pain, before it gets worse. Back pain Curse of the tall people. :-) ** update 09/04/2015: slides around a lot! go from sitting in car, etc to standing, it moves a lot, constantly adjusting. bllahhh 4and the support isn't really all that great along the sides of the spineThis brace slides around a lot, even when fitted or snug. It does breathe a little, but it makes me sweat a lot, and the support isn't really all that great along the sides of the spine. It does help some with the pain, but it's definitely not my go-to for support. I use it in a pinch. 3Not really designed for plus sizesI bought this product because of severe lower back pain. I have a plus size stomach that needs to be held in by the brace. This brace pops open everytime I sit down or bend over, which defeats the purpose, lol.I suppose if you are slender this is a good fit, but the xxL is not large enough for anyone over 250 pds. in my opinion.(Please , no comments on loosing wheight etc.. I'm just trying to share my experence not be berated.) 2Sizing is OffIts the second time I purchased this item the first one I returned which was a size medium to large it was too big and did not give the support I need for my back. The second one a small to medium size is too small and not comfortable to wear and hurts my back. I will just keep the item because I don't want to bother to return anymore or have any problems returning it because I have returned the first one I ordered 2Hot as HadesI wore this to vacuum, and was so uncomfortably hot, I had to remove it. Forget wearing it during a workout. I guess it's supportive and nicely made but basically they're all the same. You can't really be sure you're getting the right or any support from these braces. I'm so tired of wasting money on this stuff. 2I can function again!!I came upon this support quite by accident. My back was so painful it was hard for me to do anything at all. If I worked at anything, house work, garden, my back would start hurting within about twenty minutes and I would have to go lie down. It was hard for me to even cook dinner. Sometimes it would quit hurting and I could go back to work, sometimes it didn't and I was through for the day. I wear this support every day. I am relatively pain free. My back is so improved I am speechless. I repainted my bedroom, I garden, I now work part time. I have two of these supports so I will never be without. I would recommend this to any one who is suffering back pain. My pain is because I am 82, and the spine compresses as we age. I am a very active person now, with no pain. 5Lightweight, comfortable and adjustable.Replaces brace I used for over 3 years. Velcro finally wore down.Great back support. Use it all the time when I working around the house,golfing and traveling. Very light weight, comfortable and adjustable. The toextra pads on the back are just right for massaging my back muscles whensitting and standing. 4
