Decaf Dark Roast HeavenAll of a sudden I had a caffeine sensitivity and had to switch to decaf. When I started looking into it I learned about the Swiss Water process vs chemicals. It ins't easy to find just water decaffeinated coffee at the grocery store, and in pods. I also love dark roast, which made things more complicated. So, the Organic Black Knight Coffee is where I landed, and I think it's fantastic. Thank you!5Excellent value, excellent taste!First off, finding good coffee that's both decaffeinated and packaged in pods for a reasonable prices is rare. The BlackKnight pods are certified organic, use the Swiss water decaffeination process, and are very affordable. And it tastes like a full bodied, regular coffee. I tried another comparable brand, San Francisco Bay, decaf French Roast and the DarkKnight is just a better quality product.5half-caff is less acidic but weak & do get some grounds occasionallyIt's very hard to find options in half-caff k-cups. When I saw this as a different brand than my usual I had to try. The good is that I find it less acidic than most other coffees, which is great for acid reflux, and also that the price on the 72 count was reasonable as compared with what I'm used to. The bad is that I find the taste to be quite weak and also out of five of these cups I've tried, two of them have had a few grounds in the bottom of my coffee cup.3Tasted great....happy to have organic half caf in a k-cupI bought this to try since my husband likes half reg and half decaf coffee mixed and it was difficult to find a k-cup that had organic half caf. I wanted a good decaf for work - I need a jitter-free hand to perform my duties - and I drink coffee all day long.This {Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC, Swiss Water Decaf Organic Sumatra} is a solid medium just encroaching on medium dark roast (think 7/10 - 10 being Dark, like Italian or French). The body ('Strong' button pressed) is pretty good for a K-cup (especially at the 6oz or less settings) which can tend to produce a weak/thin brew. Don't know if it's the most nuanced Sumatra flavor-wise - but it's good. Again, I think Keurig is the weak link in the chain.Upshot: One of the better K-cups I've had. I won't hesitate to buy it again. Organic Fair Trade Swiss Water Decaff Yields a respectable Cup4Not a bold dark roast, but is good coffee.I was searching for a less expensive coffee to my normal Barista Italian Roast Decaf. Thought I would give this a try as both my wife an I are coffee snobs. This coffee is good, but if you are looking for a very bold, strong, European dark roast, this is not it. I guess you get what you pay for but never the less the coffee was good and will use for guests desiring less bold coffee. Seller was very cooperative as they initially sent out full caffeinated coffee, but they very quick and cooperative to correct the matter. I'm hoping the seller has a decaf coffee to match my Barista Decaf Italian Roast bar!3Weak & NOT Bold!!I purchased this coffee by reading the reviews & by what was labeled on the box; BOLD, Dark Roast. It was NOT Bold & NOT Dark Roast. This coffee was like drinking watered down coffee! I m so disappointed! And I put it on the lowest setting on my Keurig, 4 or 6 oz, of the three settings.1DeCaf Organic Black Knight Dark Roast - A GREAT coffee flavorThis is a bold, delicious decaf coffee that makes a great iced coffee in my Keurig machine. There is no after taste, it is strong enough to add the ice and half & half and still be very flavorful with no bitterness. It is somewhat difficult to read the reviews since they are all mixed together for the different coffee types/flavors they offer. After I realized that, I could sort out the relevant ones that were specific to this Bold Black Knight Decaf coffee. Would buy again and would recommend.5Awesome coffee!I have suffered with acid reflux and this water decaffinated coffee reduces the acidity in the coffee and been great on my stomach. Has a nice smooth taste much unlike regular decaf coffees. This is the only coffee I will drink. I even have it mailed to every place I vacation.5Great coffee and a good priceI found this to be a full bodied coffee for decaf with no bitter after taste. With the coffee makers today you can adjust this to the level you enjoy.I use this for my wake-up cup. This one is darker than the Peruvian decaf, which I also enjoy for my second cup with breakfast.5
