Best Iron AvailableUpdate 04/17/18: Too bad the vendor upped the price nearly $5 a bottle. You should have kept your prices competitive. Now you're just as high as everyone else. I'll be looking elsewhere. Product Review: Great Product. This is the only iron I can take for my iron deficiency anemia - regular iron wreaks havoc on my system. I increased my iron count in half the time it would have taken with regular iron. This can be taken with or without food and I have had ZERO side effects. Highly recommended products at a great price. 5Effective way to raise iron levels without side effectsFeosol complete raised my iron levels by two points in six weeks without causing, nausea, constipation, or diarrhea. I took it with food and without and neither bothered my stomach. I have avoided taking iron because I am prone to digestive tract imbalances and was very reluctant to try Feosol but now I am happy that I did.The pill is small, oval shaped and easy to swallow. It is coated so you can't taste the iron when you put it in your mouth. 5No longer available, with no notice!I sure hope you're not a user of this product, like I have been. It has disappeared from the market, so you'll find yourself screwed without any warning. Customer line has no idea when/if the product will be available again. There really needs to be a law about sudden discontinuation of health care products. 1FINALLY an iron supplement that doesn't hurt my stomach!I suffer from IBD, and even with my mild case, I struggle with iron-deficiency anemia. My hemoglobin was so low that I had a series of two IV iron infusions to get my levels up. I've tried pretty much every type of oral iron supplement with no luck; they all really upset my stomach. I'm SO THANKFUL to have found this iron supplement I take two tablets a day, and I have had NO stomach pain! Highly recommend for those with sensitive stomachs! 5Easy on the stomachI've only been taking it for a few weeks, so I haven't re-checked my ferritin levels yet, but after searching and trying for months, this is the first iron supplement that does not upset my digestive system. I've taken it with food or a glass of OJ, and so far no problems. No side effects, flat belly, no constipation, no nausea. I had tried the "gentle" iron, the elemental iron, a multivitamin with iron, the standard formulas, the chews, the jellies, combined it with magnesium, on empty stomach with juice - instant bloat and blockage (and I eat tons of fruits and veggies!), unbearable pain, worse than any effect of anemia. With this formula, no problems at all. It's too early to repeat the blood test, but I felt a jolt in energy only after a few days, so I think it's working. 5Not Discontinued as others have suggestedI have been an avid user of this product for close to 5 years, which was recommended above all others from two separate doctors for my anemia. It has worked wonders and with zero side effects unlike most other iron supplements which tend to make you feel lousy. Just recently, within the past two months, this product was ripped from shelves, with no idea as to why. I stocked up until I ran out last week to go back to Slow Fe, big mistake as it really doesn t have potency there. Again, you get what you pay for. I would take 4 Slow FE to 2 of the Feosol and felt way better on this then Slow Fe or any others. Anyhow, with research I found out this product is NOT discontinued at all. It was a manufacturing issue with the company to produce the product which caused delay to stores and back orders. I was told, TODAY, by the company themselves it is in production and will be back in stores in 2-4 weeks or obviously here on Amazon. The other posters who are selling this for $200 dollars for a few bottles better get themselves in check here because that is absolutely absurd that you would price out 30 pills like that. Anyway, I wanted to share this with the rest of the Amazon community because there has been discrepancies with what others suggested about the product and why it was pulled from the market. I hope for all those out there that have had continued success with a product like this one are not too worry, it s coming back people! All we can do is ride out the bump in the road. 5it worked for meA friend had an experience with this really raising her iron levels during pregnancy, so she recommended it to me. In one pregnancy, I had trouble keeping my iron up. Then in another pregnancy I made sure to take 1-2 tablets of this per day (on my provider's orders) and my iron levels were GREAT.I was started taking it when it was labeled Bifera instead of Feosol, but the tablets appear identical and everything indicates it's exactly the same.UPDATE: I got my third trimester iron levels back for yet another pregnancy, and once again I managed to keep my iron levels the same as in first trimester. I love this stuff! 5Keeps my iron numbers upI have iron deficiency issues (to the point that I had to get IV iron infusions). Most other forms of iron give me tummy troubles, or those horrible iron burps. This doesn't give me any problems, I can take it without regard to what else I'm eating (as in not having to avoid dairy like most irons), and it is keeping my levels in-range with just 1 pill per day. 5Feosol Complete vs. Proferrin?This is must have supplement for my son with IBD. With stock running out everywhere, I tracked down the manufacturer of the heme iron (Bifera), Colorado BioLabs. They make their own iron supplement with the heme iron called Proferrin. Has anyone tried it and can compare to Feosol Complete? I am very worried Meda will not resume manufacture of Feosol with Bifera 5Best iron pills on the marketThese have got to be the best iron pills on the market. I am anemic and have been for a long time because every single type of iron pill i have very taken ha s made me sick to my stomach. Anemia makes you very tired and weak feeling and taking these pills has definitely helped me with absolutely none of the usual side effects. The iron in these is pills is derived from 2 different types of sources and covers both types of iron that my doctor recommended. These are definitely worth the cost and I have recommended them to several people. 5
