not like the Crap CVS sells for ridiculous pricesReally, really high quality reading glasses, not like the Crap CVS sells for ridiculous prices!5HIghly RecommendedThere are packages of as many as 10 reading glasses on Amazon for about the same price or less, but I can't say how these compare to the others. However, I can say that the quality of the optics is surprisingly good and better than the $30 Foster Grant pair that I had purchased at CVS (which developed problems with one of the hinges). I decided on these because I wanted a more androgynous design. All four arrived in perfect condition. Each has its own pouch. My head is big so this puts extra pressure on the hinges which may not last as long as they would ordinarily, but that is not the fault of the glasses.5Great for now but long term viability unknownThe glasses fit well and provided clearer reading than the dollar store reading glassesI am currently using and also better than the prescription progressive lens glasses thatprovide both a distance and reader capability. They do not slip off my nose etc. as someother reviewers stated. The reason I deducted one star is that only after I received theglasses did I receive a note saying only use the cloth bag provided to clean the lensesas using a solution to clean them could remove a protective coating which would causethe lenses to be blurry, rendering the glasses useless. I can't speak to the long termviability of these glasses because of this issue. For the immediate present these glassesare better readers than any other glasses I've been using.4Great ReadersThese are my favorite readers. They are the most comfortable of any readers I have ever purchased. I have purchased several different sets of reading glasses from Amazon, but I always find myself reaching for my Truvision glasses, because they don't feel heavy and uncomfortable after several hours. I have never had a pair of these break or get scratched, but I did lose 3 out of 4 pairs over a period of almost 2 years, so I came back for more. I will buy these again and again! They are very high quality for an amazing price.5Better than expected!These readers are better than I expected and are lightweight and very comfortable. Also, viewing through these glasses is a very pleasant experience as they are very clear! I don t think I will buy readers from a store again, as people pick them up and toss them around and get scratched very easily. True to colors as pictured. I will be ordering another set soon with different colors for myself and as a gift to a friend.5Great Lenses Zero Distortion & Quality Frames Make These Readers A Best Bet!My husband and I both go through readers like crazy - we call them eyes as in have you seen my eyes? or where the hell did I put my eyes?. I've learned you can spend an awful lot of money on readers that you're bound to lose, break or throw away or buy the really cheap ones, you know the kind they come in a blister pack of six for $9.99 the problem with those is that they're God awful. Cheap plastic no spring frames and cheaper lenses that offer up a fish bowl effect so everything you read is curved - like those curved TV screens that were so popular for an hour a few years back.To my surprise these glasses are nicer than expected, much nicer. Spring loaded frames, quality acrylic and best of all crystal clear lenses with zero distortion - no fish bowl effect whatsoever. Each pair comes in it's own micro fiber cloth draw string bag, perfect for cleaning. they even come packaged in a nifty box - at roughly five bucks per pair these readers are an exceptional value that you'll find tough to beat. 5really good glasses for the moneyI need four pair because I leave them everywhere in the house and spend more time looking for them than wearing them it seems. The frames are sturdy and spring loaded so they do not break. The optics are good. The lens have not gotten a lot of scratches which is common for these types of glasses. There are the best I have purchased in a long time. I hope they do not disappear from Amazon because I will eventually lose them and need more.5These lenses can become cloudy.I did not expect high quality for the price I paid. But... ..I did not expect for the lenses to cloud up after using a made for prescription and reading glasses common lens wipe. The same type lens wipe I've used on my prescriptions and readers for year.Sure enough....on the box it states " "Clean the lens only using the included microfiber bag". "Using a solvent will remove the protective coating from the lens which will cause a cloudy lens. They weren't lying! After cleaning them with an optics lens wipe, I thought I had instantly contracted cataracts in both eyes. Don't buy these unless you're going to keep their microfiber bag close by when you need to clean these readers.1Best Glasses EverI've probably ordered ten different brands & styles of reading glasses the past few years, and none even come close to these. These glasses are fabulous! Not only do they fit well (no sliding or falling off) but the glass is clear and bright and you actually can see better out of them. Plus, they are not wide like some brands and look better on your face. And they come with these nice soft tie bags to keep your glasses in -- one for each pair. Best glasses ever. I will order more if these in the future.5
