Wow! This worksMy doctor diagnosed my heel pain as plantar fasciitis. I had treatment for this condition for over 10 months and even had surgery on one foot to release the fascia. After 3 weeks on crutches I slowly started to use the foot again and within 5 days my pain level was right back to pre surgery level. In frustration I was searching the internet for other causes of heel pain and came across "fat pad syndrome". This is a thinning of the fat pad under the heel that can occur due to age and/or repetitive impact from activities such as running. I came across these heel cups and the reviews were good so for the low cost I decided to give them a try. Within 2 days my pain level dropped from 8 down to 2 on both feet. I've been wearing them now for a little over a week and at the end of the day my pain level has been around 1 which is tolerable. These made an amazing difference in my ability to get around. 5Work suprisingly wellI bought these on advice of my sister and am surprised at how well they work. I was worried about them being too small for my size 12 foot but they fit fine and I didn't have to heat them, just used them directly out of the box. I was also skeptical that they would help with my plantar heel pain but they do help quite a bit. They don't take all the pain away but about 80-90% which is definitely worth the price. I use them full time but bring them along with me to work (where I'm standing/walking 100% of the time) and when I feel some pain coming on I pop them in and it helps a lot. If you've got heel pain then these are definitely worth a shot. 4I used to feel like there was a nail sticking up in my heelHave used these for years. I used to feel like there was a nail sticking up in my heel. It was extremely difficult and very painful to walk on. First time this happened to me, I was in downtown Denver and went to a specialty shoe store. The owner said he could fix my pain. He put inserts and a heel cup in my shoes. Instant and complete relief but at a $$$ price. Since then, I haven't needed the inserts but continue to use the heel cups, always, and in every shoe I wear. 5Fixed my painI started to have terrible heel pain, every day. Getting out of bed and stepping on the floor was awful. I experience something similar back in High School when I played on the football team. The trainer gave me a pair of these and told me to use them both on and off the field. My pain went away. Remembering how well those heel cups worked I went on-line to search for something similar and was happily surprised to find these. They are exactly as I remembered them to be. I started using these new ones all the time, just like before, and I have again had my pain disappear. They take up so little space that they fit in all my shoes. Cushioned heel cups take up a lot more room in your shoes and do nothing about the natural cushion that should be under your heel ( the fat pad). Reshaping the fat pad under your heel and distributing the impact force of walking or running really can make a huge difference. These are a really cheap thing to try if you are experiencing heel pain. Much less expensive than full custom orthotics. 5Instantaneous Relief!!!I just got these last night, and the relief from heel and achilles pain was instantaneous. Absolutely incredible. It s been decades since I had heel issues, and I did use these types of heel cups way back when with success. I can t speak yet to durability if these. I ll update should that be an issue. I had no issues with durability decades ago; and I ran Division 1 track in college, so they were used during intense exercise and racing. These current heel cups will be used for regular use. I ll update should there be any durability issues. 5Relieves heel painRelieves heel pain. Both me and my wife have found these to be the only thing that would provide relief in our two different circumstances.I knew about these because a doctor recommended them when I was young and had a muscle/tendon growth issue.15 years later I bought these for my wife when she had outrageous heel pain when she was pregnant. Both cases, these were the only things that worked.Insoles, gel inserts, whatever other blue gel voodoo you can find, none of these provided any relief. This product diverts or distributes the pressure away from the part that hurts. 5Hardly feel them and they prevent my heel blisters while hiking for miles!!I bought these for a different reason than most. I am a National Park Ranger and hike several miles each day. Unfortunately, my heels are very narrow compared to the average person with a medium width foot. As a result, any boot or hiking shoe I have tried always allows my heel to move. My socks always catch on the leather or fabric in the heel, and with the movement of each step, my heel rubs, and rubs. It doesn't take long until I have screaming blisters. I got tired of using mole skin. While that works, pulling socks over it often makes the pad roll off as I pull them on. A real pain to use. And it only lasts one time. I decided to try these and see what happens. To my joy, they add just a little thickness (although not enough as to completely fill the gap) and it allows my heel to slip without the sock rubbing a blister! I see other reviews where they eventually will crack. I haven't had that happen yet, but just bought a 1 dozen pack to use in my several pair of hikers, and be ready when they do break. 5IT WORKS!Such a simple thing that really does work. I damaged the fat pad in both of my heels and I was standing on bone. Painful! We have spent $$$ on orthotic shoes and custom inserts that still left me with heel pain. These little plastic heel cups have made all the difference. It cups the fat pad and keeps it in place over the heel bone. I don't wear shoes without my heel cups. I ordered the dozen pack. Thank you! 5Solved my heel spurs!!!!I'm in my early 30s, and am finding my body starting to make slow changes. First came heartburn, then a few grey hairs, and NOW, heel spurs. They're terrible. I work long hours on my feet, sometimes 10-12 hours at a time. It was getting worse and worse for me. I would feel a shooting pain in my heel any time I shifted my weight. My mother suggested that I try these heel cups. I was NOT disappointed!!! They look so simple, but have made such a huge difference for me. They felt a little weird at first, but only took about 30 minutes to get used to. And since wearing them, I haven't felt a single heel spur. These are miracle workers! I will definitely be buying more for my winter boots!!! 5Fantastic heel cups, with one fixable flaw.I can honestly say these heel cups made it possible for me to play tennis again. I had a heel bone bruise that wouldn t go away. I tried various heel cups. The rigid design of this cup keeps my heel off the ground, and since I ve been using them I ve been able to play tennis without fail. There is one problem, but it is fixable. From December 2017 until April of this year I bought seven pair. The problem was that after using them a few times they would crack and I would have to discard them. I discovered, however, that if I reinforced them with heavy duty clear packaging tape, they would essentially last forever. I haven t bought another pair in over six months. 4
