Comfortable and supportiveI purchased this cushion for my mother because she was having difficulty getting up from her favorite chair. The cushion fit perfectly in the chair seat and provides just the right height to allow her to stand without difficulty. The cushion is firm and supportive but still comfortable. The edges do not put pressure against the legs even when sitting for a long time.5Not for lengthy sitting sessionsI have used wheelchair cushions for 50 years. I am quadriplegic so I am careful about cushions for my chair. This one was cheap so I hoped it would work. Sorry, if you need a quality cushion to protect your skin or for lengthy sitting comfort this isn't the cushion you are looking for. For me, this cushion started "hitting bottom" or flattening out within a few days. If you don't need the cushion for long sessions this might work. If you need a real quality durable wheelchair cushion look elsewhere34 inch thickness makes the differenceThese cushions are very well constructed, somewhat firm but hold the shape very well. The cover material appears to be very durable and long lasting. I'm very satisfied with this purchase4Works as hoped for!We bought this to assist with my husband's hip replacement recovery.
