It works as advertised.I so like the e-pill Organizer,it took me a little time to figure how to set it up.. I guess I was looking for a conformation saying I had done it right.After I thought I had it set up correctly I took it for a test run, hooray it worked.I only use for one time in the afternoon same time every day, you can set other time also after it goes off it resets it's self for the same time the next day. I does work as advertised. I like it !!!!!! 5great buyI bought this for my husband who has to take many pills a day. We tried another brand first, but it was total junk. This one isn't too difficult to set. It's loud enough, unlike the previous brand, and the vibration is strong and works great. We both love this one and my husband is lost without it. I ordered a second one to have on hand in case he loses this one or something happens to it. Well worth the money. 5Small 4 Dose Med Alarm--EASY-TO-USESimple to operate. Compact. I take 6 pills in the AM and it holds them all, depending on the size. Would give it a higher rating, but pill compartments close with the same plastic flap as most pill boxes, so in a crowded purse, the compartments may come open. I have had to dump my purse to retrieve a couple doses that fell out. 4It Works - Some Improvement SuggestionsI read many of the reviews before purchasing this device to address my wife's need for four-daily Parkinson's pills. The most basic review is that IT WORKS. Would I like improvements, yes, but it does what we need.Improvements desirable1) Pill box lids more transparent. Now they are translucent and in dimmer light one can miss if there are still pills present.2) Option for more than three groups of buzzes. Now if you should be out of earshot during the 10 minutes it goes off you will miss the reminder. It would be great to be able to choose many more repetitions.3) Choice of sounds. My wife fixates on the annoying buzzer. Once she's turned it off she has sometimes neglected to take the pills. A little speaker with some choice of sounds would be ideal to address this.I realize I'm probably suggesting a more expensive device. I'd be willing to pay more for these improvements. 4Was Wonderful then lost timeThis pill alarm was fantastic for about 2 weeks. Then it started loosing time. I changed out batteries hoping it would fix the problem but still not working properly. I am going to try to contact company. I'm willing to give it a chance if they can fix it. When it worked it was exactly what we needed. Will update if thighs change. 1My Dad loves hisWe got this for my father, who needs to take pills four times a day and is starting to have memory problems, which made that very difficult. This unit has solved that problem very neatly, so much so in fact that when my sister admired it he gave her his and we had to get him another one! The only drawback is the price, which does seem a little steep for what you get. It is not a large enough unit to hold all the pills an older person often needs, but that was not a problem in our case; my Dad already had a nice holder in which he could set out the days' pills, he just needed a portable, easy-to-use (he's also pretty technophobic) reminder system. If need be, it can also hold his most essential pills, e.g. if he is going to be out for a long period of time. 4I had experienced a defect in the alarms ability to keep correct time.This alarm is a great idea and was hopeful for it. The alarm worked as described for the first couple of days. Then a week later i wanted to switch the alert to just vibrate. Then as i checked the time a couple hours later, the time completely changed! I had tested this for my mother to use for her medicines in which she is on a strict timw schedule. I am glad i got to test this before giving it to my mom. The product needs to fixed for this is a dangerous defect especially for people who rely on it for medicinal intake. The customer service on the other hand was great. 1Buyer bewareThis timer worked great for two weeks after the return date expired and it quit completely. Although it had been a couple months I replaced the batteries just in case it still doesn t work. I would not recommend buying this product. 1Great until it stops workingBought this for my father who needs a reminder to take a particular medication 3x daily. When it works it's great, BUT, as many others have written ours stopped working properly after only 5 months. We purchased one in September 2016, and after struggling to with it for several weeks once it stopped working we ended up purchasing another in March 2017. - When it stopped working properly it began beeping at odd times, and the time setting changed. Even though everything lit up, we tried new batteries. That didn't work. I repeatedly re-set it hoping it would work as it should again to no avail. I tried the tip someone noted in another review of placing a strip of rubberband inside to make the connection better, didn't work for me. We finally just purchased another one because he needed it. I couldn't find a similar pill reminder that could be set for 3 or 4 times each day that would fit in his pocket. It's a great little thing - but hoping we don't have to re-purchase every few months! 3love itI love this product, only design flaw is the battery you do have to put something inside the case to hold the small batteries in place or the clock will stop...I tried the rubber band trick and that didn't hold so I just added a few pieces of tape...I would have given it 5 stars if not for that small flaw. 4
