put the foot rests on and it seemed fine. When it was loaded in the back of ...I'm not sure about the chair, but things didn't start off well.I had major knee surgery and need this wheelchair for healing and rehab. There was protective wrap inside the package so it looked to be a brand new wheelchair. I unpacked the chair, put the foot rests on and it seemed fine. When it was loaded in the back of the car, the right side WHEEL FELL OFF! Yes that's correct. There was a missing nut on the inside connection of the wheel under the seat. I'm thankful I wasn't using the chair when the wheel fell off.1Inferior productFirst, the seat sags and is uncomfortable, secondly, the sides of the wheelchair, positioned at the seat,(as pictured) used to made of metal, but this company decided to save money by producing them with plastic, which is thin, and broke on both sides, one of which broke completely off. That side left a very sharp protrusion of the broken plastic hanging on the screw, that nearly cut my finger as I was reaching for the break. I will never purchase an Invacare product again.1drive WheelchairIts really nice, came packaged well. Everything about it is quality and durability, very good buy. Anyone looking for a great wheelchair this is it. Foot rests are easy to put on an take off and also really nice to unlock to move them out of the way for easy sitting or getting up and out of.5Really great wheelchairMy husband has been having trouble walking through the grocery store. There are almost never any provided motorized wheelchairs available. Or they are usually out of order. This wheelchair was a nice price and it easy to unfold. It's not too heavy. The maneuverability is great. There is one problem with the chair. The arm won't stay locked in place on the right side. They are made to be able to be removed with a button. For some reason this button won't stay locked and my husband has to keep knocking it back into locked position. I don't know how to contact someone about this problem.4Very nice chair. The one I was sent from another home health company this time around was inferior, so I bought my own. I'm small (5' 1", 107 lbs.) so I ordered the 16". The small size makes it much easier to maneuver. Had to have the height adjusted, but that was relatively easily done. I did have to order the brake lever extensions to be able to safely lock and unlock the brakes, as I found the original levers too short and stiff, otherwise I'd give it 5 stars.4Easy to use and stow!We ordered this wheelchair because we needed a last minute solution for my daughter who had to attend college graduation and was not able to walk due to an injury. This wheelchair worked out perfectly! It folds up so that it will fit into most if not all car trunks, but when it is unfolded, it is very comfortable and easy to maneuver. I recommend it highly.5Defective foot rest attachmentThe wheelchair is nice in terms of its comfort. However, there is one major problem with it. It came defective in that we are not able to attach the footrest on the right side. There is so much overspray on the pins that it is not possible to attach the footrest on the right side. Unfortunately, the cost to return this will be so significant that we are going to try to make do. However, I would never order this again, and would suggest that it is not a good idea to order a wheelchair through Amazon ... due to the high cost of a return in the event the product is defective.1Good so farFor the price it can't be beat. Its also a bit lighter than other wheelchairs, not by much but if you are lugging the thing around you can appreciate saving a pound or two. The plastic caps tend to pop off so I suggest gluing them on.4ExcellentHigh quality. Be sure to put the brake on both wheels before trying to put this into a car trunk. Is may be on the heavy side for some people.5
