Works well!Just got these for mild arthritis in my hands, after having researched many other brands. They are well made, comfortable, breathable, and flexible enough to wear while doing tasks. The tag on the inside ( at the wrist area ) is a little irritating after wearing them for a while, but I just turn the fabric inside out, and voila! If someone is wearing these for wrist issues though, it might be a problem...I went with a small in this brand, since my measurements ( across the palm / at my knuckles ) was 3 1/2 inches. Honestly, I could even use more compression! However, they help tremendously... I just got done pulling weeds for hours in my garden, and wish I had worn these under my garden gloves! I'm wearing them now, and the relief was almost instant. I'm considering buying another pair to wear for 'dirty jobs'. 5Poor qualityI did not like the gloves and I returned them. The fingers were stiff and the rest of the gloves were loose. They did not feel like compression material. I measured my hands according to the directions, and was on the line between S and M. The small gloves were baggy, especially around the wrists. And my wrist is not particularly small. Also, the two gloves were not symmetric. The left glove felt fine around the thumb seam, but on the right glove the seam was not in the right place and so it tugged and felt awkward.Perhaps these gloves were designed for people with swelling in their hands. But overall they were baggy and awkward. I am surprised by the positive reviews. I cannot recommend this product. 1Helps to relieve swelling of hands caused by rheumatoid arthritisI have severe rheumatoid arthritis and ordered these gloves after being advised by my rheumatologist to try compression gloves for my swollen hand joints. After intermittently wearing them for nearly 3 weeks my hands are less swollen and painful. I wear them under my gardening gloves for support while planting bulbs and trimming bushes, and have found that my hands are less painful after a day in the garden. I also wear them while I am reading or watching TV at night, and sometimes also wear them to bed when my joints are very painful, and they feel better in the morning. I wear them turned inside out to minimize pressure of the inside seams, and feel that they are well made. The pink compression gloves work well too, and are a nice change from the gray and black ones. I have large swollen hands and wear a size Medium in all the gloves except for the copper lined gloves that were too small, and needed to return them for a size Large. The seller promptly processed my refund, and I have since ordered several additional pairs, as well as a wrist brace that stabolizes my thumb joint. 5SURPRISING - I LOVE THEMI'm glad I waited a while before rating these gloves. They are light & feel like Tee shirt cotton. I was sure they wouldn't do anything. They are comfortable, not tight. I thought perhaps I mismeasured & purchased the wrong size. WRONG. I have been wearing them every night & sometimes during the day. I am amazed at how much better my fingers feel. I have trigger finger caused by mild arthritis in several fingers. These gloves have made my hands warm & mobility has increased. I love them. 5Helps Husband's Arthritic Fingers!My husband has Rheumatoid Arthritis in the joints of his fingers. After reading the reviews on these gloves I decided to buy them and let him try them out. I figured if he didn't like them it wouldn't be a great loss because I wouldn't be sending them back. I got the large because I wanted them to reach the joint at his fingertips too, where he has the most pain. He says these gloves have helped his fingers quite a bit. He puts them on at night before he goes to bed and takes them off in the morning. I don't think he's missed a night wearing them since I gave them to him. That says a lot right there, that he wears them every night. 5Helped with carpal tunnel but ripped after 4 days!!Let s start with the good. I have severe carpal tunnel syndrome and will probably get surgery soon. Until then I ve been looking for relief from the pain and stiffness it causes in my fingers. These gloves helped tremendously with the pain and inflammation which allowed my hands to me much more workable. I m a graphic and web designer so I m on my computer all day and these gloves stopped the cramping I used to get from my CTS. They re comfy and light and I even got a compliment yesterday saying they re cute. They had no idea it was a compression glove for arthritis and whatnot.I wear them in conjunction with a wrist brace at night for extra support. I used to wake up 3x a night in crippling pain even with a wrist brace. With the addition of these gloves, I don t wake up once and I don t even have to wear my brace all day like I used to.Now for the bad.... as you can see in my photos, my gloves have ripped open on the seam and I even have a hole away from the seam. How the heck did that happen? I ve worn these gloves for only 4 days!! I haven t snagged them on anything. In fact I ve been careful with them because I love them. I want to buy a new pair but I m worried they re not very durable. 3Failed on first tryThe first time I put these on, the seam at the based of the thumb opened up. I'm not sure if that's how they arrived or if it happened when I put them on. Either way, I didn't force them on so it should not have happened. I purchased these along with another pair from Vive for comparison. No bad seams on the Vive. The Vive also seems to be more effective. The material on these gloves is thinner, almost like a t-shirt material. It fits looser so it doesn't compress quite as much. 1Compression Gloves for ArthritisI have had a number of work related issues with my right hand. Carpal tunnel and now the beginnings of arthritis. I have tried other compression gloves and thought this one would be better since it covers most of my fingers. I also liked the handbook that came with the gloves. It provides good information about arthritis and what you can do in terms of over the counter medication and exercises. 5Dupytren's contracture (trigger finger), arthritis, carpal tunnelI have trigger finger as well as arthritis in my hands, fingers, and thumbs and find these gloves to be very soothing. I had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands nearly 2 years ago, as well as trigger release sugery on a few fingers a year ago, and I love the support and light compression these gloves give me! They are helping me through until the next trigger release surgery, and also help with the swelling.What I love about these gloves is that I still have the freedom of movement without being restricted or the gloves feeling too tight. And I can still use my touchscreens without removing the gloves! I also wear these gloves while exercising, sewing, doing embroidery, cross stitching, etc. I love them and will definitely purchase more!Pros:* Light compression for the complete hand, wrists, and fingers! - minus the tips! - I can still text and utilize touchscreens, as well as complete other tasks while wearing these gloves!* Finger compression and support helps ease the discomfort, pain and swelling I experience from trigger finger as well as arthritis! I love it!* Great support and comfort for wrists!* Nice soft, non-irritating, breathable fabric, with just the right amount of compression, and they are not thick and bulky like others I've tried. The gloves keep my hands warm in the winter, but they don't make them feel hot and sweaty! (I'll update my review once warm weather hits this summer!)* These gloves wash in the machine and tumble dry beautifully!* Great price!* True to size!Cons:* Threads extend out from the finger openings a tiny bit. For me, this isn't an issue, I just tuck the bits of thread back in, but I suppose some could be overly bothered by it.Bottomline: I highly recommend these gloves and will purchase again! (By the way, I was not paid for this or any other review!) ;-) 5They do help and made very well.Before I ordered I read a lot of reviews. I have RA and trouble with my hands and finger joints. I m so glad I chose these. They fit great and they so help. Gives more support and helps support the joint. I have even slept with then own. I have washed them by hand and hang up to dry. I have more trouble with right hand so I just put the left hand glove on while it was drying. I need to get an extra pair. These really do help. 5
