Well worth my wait!!I have been wanting cream of wheat for so long. I couldn't find the kind I like at the local stores. They only sell the original flavor or maple brown sugar and I like various flavors. I ventured to Amazon to just see if they had any other flavors and I found this one. I was so excited to come home from work to this. Yep. Cream of wheat excited me. Very much. And yes the corner of the box was beat up but I understand shipping can be a monster sometimes. No harm. The price could be less expensive but I didn't mind treating myself. Shipping was fast. I absolutely love Prime!! Thank you Amazon for always carrying all the things I love.5Bait and SwitchThis was supposed to be a case of the Cream of Wheat banana cereal. I received one box. I believe the wording in the listing is purposefully deceitful. I paid $16.99 for one box (10 envelopes) of cereal. This is a scam! It's rare on Amazon, but I have to say it happened to me once before with an independent seller. Beware.1Cannot Find in Local StoresMy son and I love this cereal and can't find it in stores anymore because it does cost a bit more than regular Instant Cream of Wheat (12/1oz packets). However, the nutritional value is higher, which is the reason I think that it would cost more to produce. Yet, I agree with other consumers that the price in stores was outlandish so... it didn't sell. Yet, it should be noted that this product contains 8 packets (1.59oz) so you do get slightly more cereal even if the servings are less compared to regular Cream of Wheat. I am thrilled to have found it here on Amazon for a reasonable price and free shipping with Prime. This is my second order.5Nopenopenope.Nope. If you LOVE a LOT of banana flavor (like the flavor of banana taffy) this is for you. It is not even kind of trying to taste like the actual fruit, but it brings ALL the imitation banana flavor, and it brings it HARD. I hate to throw out food. I mean I HATE to throw out food--but the food bank won't take the open box and I can't gag this down. One bite and it was out to the trash.1Disgusting After TasteTantalizing ad, but the product does not live up to expectations. Smells good, but leaves a disgusting after taste that lingers until you wash it away with a different flavored product. Water doesn't remove the taste. A spoonful of honey works best. I remember Strawberries & Cream had a delightful taste and small chunks of dried strawberries. There aren't any small bits of banana in this product. Just bad artificial flavor.3Tasty!!!I love Cream of Wheat and have enjoyed it for decades. Although some of my favorite flavor are disappearing, I was able to find the Bananas and Cream and was thrilled. I hope this flavor is not discontinued and I also hope Apples and Cinnamon comes back!5Delicious!This cereal is so good. I really liked the texture and taste of it. My mother in law was over at my place and a couple of minutes after I put the cereal on the stove to cook she walked into the kitchen and went straight to the pot to smell it, and said it smelled amazing. She rarely ever says that about anything. I gave her a couple of packages of it to take home with her. I will surely continue to purchase this cereal, it s so yummy. I recommend it to people who aren t huge fans of oatmeal like me.5If you love Cream of Wheat - this is a great buyI love Cream of Wheat and really enjoy the variety of flavors. This would have been 5 stars, except about half of each box is the regular flavor - not one of the fruit flavors. We still ours the conventional way with boiling water, and Cream of Wheat works well this way. No more lumps like we used to get with the longer stove top cooked version. I was also having trouble finding the variety packages in the store, so this collection is great!4Sweet cream of wheatI don t like cream of wheat but had to eat it for several weeks. I hated the flavor because it was sweet on top of being cream of wheat. However my husband loved it. So he ate it.3CostIt cost me over 9.00 for one box of cream of wheat I was very disappointed. I will be sure to read the amount much better if I ever order it again which I dont think I will!1
