Check skin area after initial use. Don't prolong use of each bandage. Short term then replace if needed is best, anyway.I really like the "4 wing" configuration of this bandage. I've been using it on a leg wound.I also like the adhesion and comfort. It stays on, whereas many others don't.The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is because, with my 72-year-old sensitive skin, I found out through trial and error that if I kept the bandage on for several says (especially through taking a shower), the bandage remained intact, but I developed a rash wherever the adhesive touched my skin.But for one day's use (not during bathing), this is a very good bandage and a good value. 4The perfect banadage for people that KNOW bandages.Coverlet is my new go to brand of bandages. I will NEVER buy Band-aid brand again. Curaid brand just sucks.... bought those once..... just once. I go through a lot of bandages because I work with my hands a lot. I know my bandages, and I am VERY picky about what I use - both brand and type. My family laughs at me, but I hate it when a drop of water makes a bandage fall off, or when I have to put my hand in my pants pocket and the bandage starts to peel off. I want a bandage to stay on until I take it off. I luckily found this brand on Amazon by sheer accident. After reading some of the reviews of other bandage "connoisseurs" like myself I ordered some. They were right. These things stay on your fingers!!!! I washed some dishes with Dawn soap.... and they stayed on. I took a shower and made it all the way through with the bandage still on. Now the ends will start to lift a little (just a little) with a lot of water and soap use like in the shower or the above mentioned dish washing. Though at no time did the bandages just fall off with soap and water like with ALL other brands. There is one type of Band-aid fabric bandage that comes close, but they are still not as good as these Coverlets. These never.... have not yet.... started to peel from the ends from continually putting my hand into my pocket. That was a pet peeve of mine. I would put a new bandage on, and then a little while later need to get a set of keys, Etc. of my pants pocket. ...and there it was. The bandages would start to peel back from the ends because it had rubbed on the pants fabric. Once that happened the end was not going to stick back down again and would just get worse each time. Usually by the third time the bandage was useless. These Coverlet bandages STICK!!! Yes, they are a little harder to get off, but not "where are the scissors/knife" hard to get off. Though that is what is needed if you want a bandage to stay on all day. So I don't write a lot of reviews on Amazon. If I do it's because I would swear by the product. As I do these bandages. They are perfect..... at least I think so. Plus these are cheaper because you get so many in a pack. 5Good, but size caution.This bandage may well deserve 5 stars, and the only reason I am giving it 3 here is to flag the attention of others as to the size: 2 x 1.5" is the size on the back surface. If you are focused on the gauze area, it is only 1" x 3/4" I had assumed that the gauze size was the relevant measurement, and these are too small for my needs. 3In the past I have had 11/2 X 2 inch band aids that were really great. The telfa pad that goes against the wound ...These were just okay. In the past I have had 11/2 X 2 inch band aids that were really great. The telfa pad that goes against the wound were large and covered most of the size of the band aid, so they covered a good size cut. These Coverlet 11/2 X 2 inch band aids are made cheaper. The telfa pad that goes against the cut is small, so you can't really use them on a good sized cut. So for that matter,you may as well use a regular sized band aid. Why have a larger band aid if the telfa pad isn't large enough to cover a larger cut? I would not buy these again, and I had to look elsewhere for better band aids.These do stay on well, and if they had bigger pads so that you could actually use them on a bigger cut, they would be fine. Cheaper made is not working in this case.If you need something for a larger cut, look elsewhere, as these don't work. 3Sensitive skin? This isn't the bandaid for you.I really wanted to love these bandaids since they are hospital grade and a good value for the price. They ARE a quality bandaid, but if you have sensitive skin proceed with caution. The picture is of my daughter's wound 16 hours after removing the bandaid. It's faded, but when we removed the bandaid the skin that had the adhesive on it was fire engine red. It's not the bandaids fault, but if your skin is sensitive this may not be the product for you. 3Hope to never buy any other brand these are amazing!These are incredible. If you sweat, highly recommend trying them. Latex free, great since I'm allergic to latex. After fifty some years, I hope to never have to buy another brand. LOVE these. Burned myself this week and used these to cover the burn cream on 3 burns. Didn't absorb all the cream, none oozed out, bandage STILL stuck even with the cream spreading out to the edges. Gauze type pad seemed minutely bigger than Bandaid brand, but for me - what a difference in quality. I think I could have reused it after I took it off even. Incredible quality, I'm sufficiently impressed. 5You don't need a premium bandage until you need a premium bandage!You don't need a premium bandage until you need a premium bandage! Then you are completely stuck or should I say "unstuck" with the pretenders. I went to my CVS pharmacy and I tried Band-Aid and CVS-brand. They both work reasonably well to cover a cut on your finger, not so well to cover a blister in your palm and they are completely useless for anything on your nose. Unfortunately, when I got a skin cancer, I needed a bandage for my nose. I needed one with strong adhesiveness, strong enough to stay on my nose after applying Aquaphor or Vasaline. Strong enough to stay on throughout the day, given I perspire at least a little. And with a comfortable pad that will keep my wound clean, completely clean. As it turns out, my doctor's office gave me a bunch of Coverlet. And that's the only brand worth buying. I popped onto amazon and bought many of the sizes. The non-latex is another plus though I don't have a latex allergy. This is the brand you want to have in your house and to be stuck on! 5Hospital grade, not found in drug stores.Occasional dermatology biopsies need nearly two weeks of daily cleaning and re-bandaging. Drug store band-aids aren't suited for this, but these coverlets are perfect in having the right size pad surrounded by a four-side adhesive boundary. They hold well without being difficult to remove. They're also what most dermatology centers use. 5If you've never had these, buy themGreat Band-Aid (sorry, trade name) for general use. Nobody else seems to make this size, and they do a pretty good job of holding on in water. If you sweat profusely however, they will come off with water getting under them. Not too hard to get off once you peel a corner up, but if you use any reasonable care you can keep them on for a few days at a time. 5A good idea made poorly in every way-look elsewhereBasically, this manufacturer choose to make a very poor quality product starting with a misrepresentation of what you receive in the box and what is shown in the pictures in this listing. What you receive is all wing and no bandage. Second, very poor adhesion of the wings so bad they will easily roll up even when you try to put your clothes over the wound area (like pulling up your pants). Third, a very small almost useless size gauze piece needed to cover the wound. The gauze is not even made to be absorbent.Finally, I ended up using two or three wing bandages at a time over the same wound just to hold down a separate gauze with some antibiotic cream over the wound, not much value there. 1
