Received today 1/8/2020 - best by 1/23/2020I am not sure where this has been sitting but I got a beat up, retaped box (original from Cafe Altura to Amazon with date clearly marked) with 3 containers of coffee that will all pass their peak in two weeks. No way I can use all three by that time. Also, coffee typically has a 6 month self life unopened when you purchase it. So this is old. Shame on Amazon for sending. Returning and will find another source for this brand of coffee, which is disappointing because I have been buying this coffee off Amazon for a few years now because it is easy and fast.1Although they smelled so wonderful, they were expensive and the taste would often ...I use to buy this at whole foods in OKC but we moved north and I couldn't find it. This coffee is perfect for my taste of organic coffee, not too strong. I use to buy the 5# bag of beans and grind my own in the 80's and 90's, but I am not drinking as much coffee as in earlier years. The ground can coffee suits me well now that I am in my senior years. This coffee company is the first organic coffee company before Starbucks. I can attest to that as a fact.5Good coffeeI was surprised this coffee was so good. I'm pretty picky and like a good dark roast and this was just fine. It didn't have that bitter aftertaste some of the cheaper coffees' have. Thumbs up!5
