It's worksI bought this product in hopes it would help reverse my adrenal fatigue. With taking these pills and adjusting my food a little bit (completely clean food diet from hypothyroidism -no medication) I was able to bring my adrenals back to normal. 5Highly recommendUse for migraine relief. Has made a huge difference In number of migraines per month. 5A Beneficial Feel-Good SupplementMy wife used this for the first time. She said it helped give her energy, and made her feel good, also felt like it kept her skin smoother. Her main reason for taking it was that she has hereditary high cholesterol. Her HDL is very high, due to her healthy diet choices, but unfortunately her LDL is also elevated. She is only 34 years old, and has a healthy BMI and diet. Her cholesterol has improved marginally, but she is also taking other supplements. We are going to continue to experiment with other brands, as we have heard others are better and less expensive. If there isn't I'll be back to report on this. 4This product is a good value and seems to boost my metabolismThis product is a good value and seems to boost my metabolism. It contains resveratrol as well as quercetin and several other antioxidants that work together to boost cellular function. One of the problems with resveratrol supplements generally is the low bioavailability of this compound (because it gets extensively metabolized in the GI tract). The bioavailability of the resveratrol in this supplement is enhanced because the other antioxidants it contains get competitively metabolized by the same enzymes. The only gripe I have is that the label could more clearly indicate the precise amount of resveratrol each capsule contains. Each 600 mg capsule contains 300 mg of resveratrol (from Japanese knotweed) and each bottle contains 60 600 mg capsules (I had to email the manufacturer to clarify these facts). 4Back panel 60 count option 1 capsule = 1200 mg. Back panel 120 count option 2 capsules = 1200 mgBack panel 60 count option 1 capsule = 1200 mg. Back panel 120 count option 2 capsules = 1200 mg. Details 60 count per capsule @ $.34. 120 count per capsule @ $.28. Not correct 1200 mg! A bit deceptive re: description if true. If true why would anyone spend 50%+ more for the same dose per mg? Did I miss something? 1Too many additional supplements addedNot sure why this is advertised as simply "RESVERATROL" when it's actually a blend of multiple supplements: 600 mg Resveratrol (50% Trans-Resveratrol) , 150 mg Pomegranate , 150 mg Green Tea, 100 mg Quercetin (98% Extract), 100 mg Grape Seed Extract (98% Extract), 100 mg Standardized 4:1 Extract Enzymes. So that's SIX different supplements according to the label.How can someone know which supplement is working and/or causing an adverse reaction? This is my new go-to skin rejuvenator! 4Unproven Supplemental Resveratrol, Unadvertised Ingredients, Caffeine Content, and Non-refundable Through AmazonBRI Nutrition and Amazon does not show the complete and legible ingredients and contents list on the Amazon listing. When you receive the product, it will list a proprietary blend of various extracts, purportedly having resveratrol content. One of the larger contents comes from a green tea extract. So, this product contains a fair amount of caffeine. I reacted as such after my first suggested dosage. This coupled with the unproven positive effects of supplemental resveratrol in the literature, almost universally unknown quantities of it in products such as this, and side effects emanating from its use, make this product highly undesirable.It may be better to have the occasional sip of red wine instead (See a link to a research article from the questions and answers section). Lastly, the product is non-refundable through Amazon and may require special handling for such a request. 1Resveratrol really works.I have been taking Resveratrol for a month now and it really works. I don't have any complaints regarding acking joints. At one point in time I had constant problems with my knees swelling up and lower back pain, thanks to daily dose of Resveratrol I feel back to normal again with more energy. 5
