Hooked on white cheddar!Wish they'd use a corn/rice blend so that the pasta would be a little easier to cook (rice tends to go from underdone to overdone in about four seconds), but it's not the end of the world. Being able to enjoy gluten free mac n cheese is awesome. I have become such a convert to the white cheddar that I don't even really like the traditional stuff anymore, the flavor is fantastic! And this is the best of any GF mac n cheese mix I've tried. I even got my husband eating the gluten version because he likes Annies so much better than Kraft or other brands.5It s GrossI thought it came with a sauce style cheese packet not a powder packet. It says cream sauce on the box. Oh well. But anyway, it was gross so I won t be buying more. I prefer the Daiya brand of Mac & Cheese, that comes with a sauce style cheese and way better flavor.1Shocking this actually taste like real mac and cheese. Take it from an expert.I can t even tell you how many brands of mac and cheese I have tried. My last attempt was a brand called Amy s Mac and Cheese OMG I thought I was eating cardboard that is exactly what it tasted like. I couldn t even finish it so I passed it along to someone else who eats anything and they couldn t finish it either. So, I was about to just give up and accept the fact that there are no healthy versions of Mac and Cheese that are eatable and even remotely tastes good. I was wrong. THIS ONE DOES. I love mac and cheese. Tried mac and cheese made out of quinoa, etc. that were just awful Tried this brand and LOVED IT! This doesn t use any corn starch either. This is tasty and for me to say that, it says something. I ate it all. And, surprisingly it is cheap. How many products that are gluten free are cheap this might be the only one. For the price you cannot beat this product. Hands down the best healthy mac and cheese I have ever eaten. I am 100% confident even kids would eat this. However, I didn t use low fat milk when making it as per instructions. Instead I used Almond milk. So long story short I am buying several boxes of this to have on hand in the cupboard for when I feel the need to have mac and cheese or when my nephew wants some if you are like me and have tried about everything there is to try try this you won t be sorry. My exhaustive search for mac and cheese is finally over YAHOO!5Delicious if...We bought a 12 pack of these, and I wasn't impressed the first night we tried a box. It tasted bland; mostly like the pasta. The creamy, cheesiness just wasn't there. We gave them a second try, this time following the directions on the box much more carefully and precisely. To be clear, we had followed the directions before but had not carefully and patiently performed each step. They turned out wonderfully; very creamy and flavorful for something made with vegan cheese. I add the part about 'for something made with vegan cheese', because you shouldn't expect a vegan cheese product to taste like melted Velveeta. In summary, these are great, but you have to be more careful in making them than non-vegan boxed mac and cheese, which you just can't ruin.5So happy to have another vegan optionYAY!! Go ANNIIE'S! So happy to have another vegan option. I think it is great flavor and we have tried many other brands. I love that Annie's is all natural. Yes, it doesn't have the cheesy gooey flavor that some of the others do because it's made with pumpkin and sweet potato. It is not as salty as other brands too. It is very handy for after school snacks as my son can make it himself in several minutes. It does have the extra step of heating the sauce to thicken versus mixing it in a bowl, but it is very tasty! Do try it! Amazon has it for a great price as well.5Best Dairy-Free Mac n CheeseI looked all over for a product that could get my son away from dairy and cheese. After trying a few that just didn't taste right, I found this one. I added about 1/2 tablespoon of nutritional yeast, since my son said that it smelled like mac n cheese. He loved this stuff. I read a few good reviews, and I am glad that I took a chance on this product. It is just a tiny bit more work to make it, and I did add the two tablespoons of vegan buttery spread that the instructions recommended. So worth it.5Best Vegan Mac n CheeseI've tried Daiya (oft-putting and no worth purchasing; I also dont like any Daiya product), Uptons (very good but double the price; definitely worth trying) and Road's End (bland and very average, but not oft-putting, so I still buy). However, this is the best because it is very similar to the cheap boxed style Mac n Cheese (which I think has a more buttery flavor and consistency than a real cheesy product like the Velveeta style or homemade).This and Uptons are my go to, but this tastes more like traditional cheap mac n cheese from a box if thats what your going for. Uptons has precooked noodles and their sauce is a liquid (like velveeta just not as thick) that has more of a smoky flavor. Both are awesome5My Daughter's FavoriteThis tastes so much better than the "most popular boxed macaroni and cheese" brand out there. The ingredients look more wholesome - just powdered real cheese. I eat this because I can't tolerate gluten. My eleven year-old daughter can eat gluten but she's crazy about Annie's GF Mac and Cheese. I cook the pasta for 7 minutes at a rolling boil and it comes out to the right texture. I also mix the powder with 1/4 cup of whole milk in a separate bowl, and then pour the mixed-well cheese sauce over the pasta to keep it from getting cheese clumps.4Our favorite vegan mac and cheeseI have a dairy allergy and was looking for a Kraft substitute. This is the best of the ones we've tried - very easy to make (we use unsweetened almond milk, preferably original but vanilla is okay, just a bit sweeter in flavor) and quite tasty. We sometimes add frozen peas/carrots/corn or meat (like smoked pulled pork). We've also added a bunch of other stuff and some vegan cream cheese, to stretch the sauce. A good base for a nice quick warm meal.5This is GREAT!!!!! First time trying a gluten free pastaI started gluten free for my son who has apraxia, I thought this would be absolutely terrible bc I've never had gluten free pasta before. This is actually BETTER than regular mac and cheese! What have I been missing my entire life? I mixed it with coconut milk and organic pumpkin puree!!! I'm definitely buying this all the time now, thank you!5
