Latex, not breathableI didn't see in the description that this product was latex, which gives me an allergic reaction/itchy rash. It advertised itself as breathable so I guess I assumed it wouldn't be latex? I tried wearing it anyway and it was so uncomfortably hot and sweaty (and itchy on top of that, because of the allergy). The fit wasn't too snug, either. It was kind of awkward fitting. It wasn't worth the hassle of returning so I just ended up donating it to Goodwill, sigh!1Does the jobI just received this wrist brace. The package was damaged and the brace was out of the box inside the package. It wasn't a big deal since it was for me and not something I'm giving to someone. It does have a strong rubber smell that is not going away unless I wash it...maybe. The velcro on this brace is a little too much for the material since it making the material fray easily every time you take it off. It ends up giving it a very used feel. The brace is comfortable on and does the job of keeping my wrist straight. Since I only need it for a short term, this will do. I don't think it'll hold up long term. Also, I wish it was a black material. The lighter color gets dirty easily. It's okay with me since it's washable but, like I said, I only have to keep it on for a short term.3This is worse than nothing at all. Not worth a dime.This is the worst product ever. Loose threads, painful support inserts and twists and hurts and aggregates the pain more than without. It was so bad and to make matters worse send me two of the same hand. I injured both wrists (one worse than the other) and the one I needed it for the most was packed in a box saying right hand but had a left hand one. It also smelled like cheap burning foam and it made my skin smell for days.1Adjustable and comfortableI have very slim wrists and this adjusts to fit snugly. I like the soft flexible material around the thumb and back of hand. A thin sleeve to hold hand in place and 3 adjustable velcro straps makes adjusting to fit very easy.My hand does get hot in this but that goes for any sleeve.I also like the light color very much!5ReliefI have recently been diagnosed with tendinitis, my Dr. gave me a plaster splint. Lets just say when the brace came in the plaster splint went out. Lightweight, comfortable.5Metal splint sticks out awkwardlyThis wrist brace is comfortable and easy to use, and I like that it can be washed. The only thing I don t like is that there is an opening in the bottom, and the metal splint sticks out. When I first put it on the splint was flipped the wrong way, and the end was jabbing me dangerously. I figured out I could remove it and turn it over. I guess it is removable for when you want to wash the rubber and fabric parts, but it feels a little awkward!4Not breathable, but otherwise a great value.Fits well, feels great, supportive, but makes my arm sweat like crazy. Don t wear it enough to say how sturdy it will be, but I keep it for a backup when I have to wash my Mueller or Wellgate braces.3Fits my needs perfectlyThis brace fits my needs and does the job I need it to do. I have carpal tunnel and this brace gives me the support I need. I hand washed it in cold water although I am not sure I was really supposed to, it did fine. I did not squeeze or wring it out. I find it fits securely and it eases the numbness in my hand while wearing it. The brace is not uncomfortable, but it is hard to do things with it on and forget handwashing, thus the four-star rating. I am sure this issue goes for any brace though. I would buy this brace again if the need were to arise.5So Much Relief!Carpal tunnel symptoms and pains were almost immediately relieved once I started wearing this splint. Adjustable velcro bands allow you to tighten/loosen splint to your desired comfort level and metal insert keeps hand/wrist immobile. I also just realized the metal insert is removable as well. It takes a bit to get use to sleeping with it on at first, but provides much needed relief and is worth the adjustment phase. Great price, too! Would highly recommend.5Not worth it!This product is less expensive for a reason. It is very poorly constructed. The bottom of the splint is open and the stability rod slides out immediately and pokes the wearer's arm. There does not seem to be any way to keep the rod inside of the splint except maybe with duct tape! What a waste of money. I contacted Amazon for a refund.1
