Great for most days - including for light incontinenceThese are a definite 4.5...but Amazon doesn't have that, so I went with a 4. I have others - white center, and patterns more suitable to kids. These are just like them, but I like the charcoal color and more adult pattern MUCH more. My only complaint is that they DO move around a lot. They are either way up front or way in the back, if I am moving around a lot. They did send little strips for them - but you run out quickly and I would rather not use them to have more to waste.There are great for light and moderate days. I wouldn't use on heavy - fortunately I do not have many of those. They are also excellent if you have any light bladder issues. They aren't going to contain more than an ounce or so, but if you have issues from childbirth or aging, these protect you from the random sneeze or a bit of urge incontinence. When I am out hiking or on public trans and not sure I have access to a bathroom, I always make sure I wear them.I have thought a LOT about how to design them so they stay in place better, but haven't figured it out. I thought of hook and loop, but even the really light stuff would damage underwear. So, for now, these are my go-to pads.4GreatGreat for light to Medium days! These are nice and comfy. They are easy to keep in purse and clean! I love that there's no staining and these actually hold a good amount of blood. I'll probably get these for my girls when their menstrual cycle starts! Team reusable products.5So far im impressedI like the size of these a lot. Initially, I figured since I'm new to this, I'd get some cheap amazon cloth pads before investing more money into it. But this is next to an always overnight sized pad, decent size. And I got the regular. They're slim enough I don't foresee any issues with bulkiness. As for some of the reviews saying these are slick, the pul material seems to be what's on the bottom of these, and mine came with fashion tape. Will update when I've used them, hence the 4 stars.Update: 07/01/17Bulky so bulky. You can't wear them with loose pants or they move and you can see the outline of them if you wear tighter sweats or leggings. Fine of ypure home alone but I don't even want to wear them when my husband it home.They do the job though. Keep moisture away and aren't more uncomfortable than any other pad.3Great concept, not executed to fit plus size undies.I liked the idea of eliminating waste from using disposable pantiliners. The patterns are great, and they are well constructed too! They are very absorbent and hold more than I thought possible. I ordered these to use as a backup for my heavy days, along with my menstrual cup.But...I'm not crazy about these pads. They don't stay put. They slide back in my undies and bunch up so it feels very bulky towards the back. Every couple hours, I go to the bathroom to pull it forward into place and within 30 minutes I can feel it bunching back again. I had read that other users recommended using a very snug panty to minimize this issue. Well, who can wear their snuggest fitting panty when they're bloated from being on their period? I also made sure to order the bird pattern, as it has the fuzzy, non-PUL fabric for the backing, which is supposed to shift less. Now, I am plus size (14-16 in pants & size 8 fruit of the loom panty) and the crotch in most of my undies measures 2.5" - 2.75" at the narrowest spot. That's too wide to allow these to lay flat when the wings are snapped together. Crumpled looking is the best way to describe it.So, overall a neat product. It just doesn't work for me. Measure the crotch of the panties you plan to use these with before ordering! I would guess that between 1.75" to 2" would be ideal.3That time of the month has never felt better!I've never felt so incredibly comfortable during a menstrual cycle. I love these reusable menstrual pads so much. They have made my life so much easier. I also bought a big wet bag to hang in my bathroom and 2 mini wet bags for when I'm out and about. I wear these with lined undies as well and although there have been a few times that I was worried I was leaking, these pads have proved that that is not going to happen. I used to have horrible cramps when I started and now I'm convinced it was because of the chemicals in the pads I was using. I barely had any cramping this time around. These are amazing and I will buy them again and again!5OMGGGGGGGG! I love them!OMGGGGGGGG! I love them! I ordered these after watching a review on washable pads. I m morbidly obesed, I have very heavy cycles and they last 5-7 days. I m in my 3rd day of my menstrual and I ve noticed the following. My cramping is less, my Flow appears to be extremely heavy but when I go to check my washable pad, there is hardly any evidence, meaning it must be working. I don t feel moist, sticky or grossed out when dealing with the washable pad. The odor is down and I feel comfortable. I usually smell a mild musky odor from my neck and breast area when on my cycle that I bought was hormonal. None of that this week which makes me believe that the smell is a reaction to the chemicals in the pads.They wash very easy and I ve only had to change them twice a day. I put one on in the morning and again after I take my bath at night. I was used to tampons but will stick to this moving forward. They are greatly made.The only downside is they don t come with a wet bag so I had to order my own but 5 pads is really good for the price and the pads are a little loose when snapping them onto my undies. However, I ve found my niche in getting the pad into the right position so it does not move.I will definitely purchase again.4WOW!I guess to each her own, with these, but I do NOT understand the negative comments! This is my first period using them, and, yes, I was skeptical, but ladies..... I pushed one of these overnighters to the max and it performed!!!! The test: (a) 16 hours wearing the same overnight pad, (b) from 4pm to 8am, (c) on my heaviest day [day 2], (d) overnight, (e) while sleeping at least half the night ON MY BACK. Now that combination would have gone through at least 3 disposable pads AND I would have bled all over the bed for sleeping on my back. BUT THESE PADS DIDNT LEAK!!! Not a single leak! Anywhere! AND, I swear the pad didn t feel any heavier after that ordeal than it did when I put it on clean. I am in awe! Now... I do agree that these are thick and people have issues with the thickness. But it can t absorb if it s as thin as a facial tissue! I don t think that they are hot (but I could change my mind on that in the middle of the summer). They are comfortable. And soft. And I honestly forget I m wearing them half the time. And I don t FEEL the flow like you do with disposables. I don t feel wet from it. Washing and caring for these is simple. And I can feel the difference in myself, wearing these instead of those chemically-laden disposables. I am sold, y all.5Great product, good value!I love these pads. I did a review for a single 12 inch, which I did not like nearly as much as the 14 inch, and I must say I find them to be leagues apart. The 12 inch pad was not sewn on one side, but these were fully finished. The few bad things I had to say about the 12 inch are remedied with the 14 inch. I liked the single 14 inch so much I bought another set of five. These are a good value, as I paid about $7 and $8 for one single pad.Here is the doctored review of the 14 inch:As someone who has to double up on products normally- a tampon or menstrual cup plus an overnight pad- these are great. I use these with my cup and for the first time since I started using them, I am able to sleep through the night completely without worry, even on my heaviest nights. These are very large pads, slightly longer than my name brand disposable overnight pads, and they provide amazing coverage. I haven't had to worry once about a spill or leak. These are highly absorbent, they can hold a shocking amount of liquid (I tried it first with water, as I washed before using then in use they held up just as well) and the backing is waterproof, so nothing ever gets through to my underwear. The set I ordered is a minky material this time, very soft and doesn't shift as much in my underwear. These pads have two snaps, and the area where it folds under is big enough that they hold in place. These can slide around in your underwear when they are not pulled up (since there is no adhesive) but you can slide them back into place and mine never budged, even while I ran errands. The most amazing part (aside from the size) is that even after wearing them most of the day, they do not smell! They are very easy to clean out in the sink with a little soapy water (I use a spot of dawn) until the water runs clear, then straight into the washer with the other delicates.My only complaints are: If you are a first time buyer, you may not have knowledge of how to clean, use, or take care of these, and no information is provided. The five pads I ordered were packaged plainly, in just plain clear plastic bags. Chances are, however, if you are interested in trying out reusables, you have probably seen something online already. There are lots of different sites and youtube channels that are a wellspring of information. If you are thinking of making the switch, I highly recommend it, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised, even if you were on the fence about it being gross or a lot of work.5WORTH IT.I loved these, I have been trying to find ways to reduce my footprint on this world... but also save money, I love these. They have this really cute pattern, they are extremely easy to clean. They do the job better than disposable pads. The total price of these will be earned back in 6-8 months, the amount of time it would take to go through 30.00 in disposable pads. To reduce the pad from moving at all I use 2 tiny squares of doublesided take.5These are huge but in a great way. They are thinner than a kotex pad ...If you told me a year ago I would buy these, I would have laughed in your face. Plus, nobody talks about this. But I will never go back to disposable pads or tampons again. So, here's the TMI review I wish someone else had written for me to read.Coverage: These are huge but in a great way. They are thinner than a kotex pad and thicker than always, a happy middle ground. The side panels extend longer than any disposable I've ever used. I regularly leaked out of the biggest disposables, haven't leaked out of these.Odor: There is none. Like seriously, I didn't think I smelled too bad before, because thats what disposables advertise but now I know better. Now I don't smell anything, which I like. No fake flowery stink here!Easy of use: I haven't had any trouble of it sliding around like other reviews have said. Not sure why, but I'm happy with it. I snap it and slide it up to where I want it when I put it on and it stays in place.Cleaning: Not a bid deal. Way easier than I expected. I rinse it out in the shower with a little soap and water and then throw it in with my regular laundry in the washer and hang it to dry.The biggest plus for me is how my skin is. Disposables made my skin itchy and irritated. I didn't know that wasn't normal. I didn't know there was a better way. This is that better way. I have zero skin irritation using these.Also, they are worth the money. I have had these for two months and already saved money versus what I would have spent on disposables.I wasn't compensated or discounted in any way for my review. I bought them and am really truly happy with them!5
